Chapter 14: Hurricane

Ian was walking home from the Convenience store to buy some drinks and snacks. Today is his much-awaited day off after 4 months or so.

"Where the hell is she?" Ian's attention was captured by a female voice near their apartment…

It is a girl about their age wearing a loose green maxi dress that reach half of her legs and a canvas low-cut Chuck Taylor plus a big suitcase. Ian just shrugged of the curiosity and went on towards their apartment.

He was about to enter the door when the girl called out to him "Ian" then he just froze on the spot.

"Ysa? What are you doing here?" It is their childhood friend Ysa Herlance.

"Where's Mia? She's not answering her phone and she's not home"

"She's back at work at HGN, I don't know when she will be back" then he entered the house for real

'I don't want to deal with her in anyway' Ian thought and shiver at the idea. Ever since they were kids he doesn't like baby-sitting this princess. Yes, Ysa is a baby sister of Faux.

*Bang! Bang!

Ian doesn't want to open the door but it seems like he got no choice, she just won't stop banging the door.

*Bang! Bang!

'This girl really' Ian dragged himself just to open the door.

"I'm going stay here for a while" Ian just shrugged off and just went to his room and locked it.

'He really locked the door' Ysa thought to herself as she toured around the apartment… as she looked around the new apartment it is relatively small compared to the previous one, they still got one room each but a lot smaller and they don't have any space aside from the conjoined kitchen/dining and living room.

"But, it is really more bright and homey than the previous residence" Ysa thought to herself as she toured more.

'I guess I should also go to mine and arrange my stuff'

Ysa actually reside on the apartment next to Mia's, she just can't believe Mia when she called two days ago that her brother and the others are moving on the first floor house.

She was away for a business trio that's why she just came home. 'I guess they didn't know that I stay here'

Ian went outside his room when he can't hear any noise in the living room…

'That's odd, where's that hurricane" Ian looked like a thief that is sneaking out after doing something, at that very same moment Max entered the house.

"Did you do something inappropriate?" Max looked at Ian with suspicion.

"Nothing" Ian then entered again his room and locked it again.

Max just tilted his head and looked again at Ian's room "He did, he really did something" and just went straight to the kitchen to cook lunch.

Argon went somewhere and tasked him to do some grocery and some random stuff including today's lunch. Well there's only two of them so he just bought some food outside he's just going to heat it up so that is counted as cooking

"Food should be eaten hot" he said to himself as he waits for the microwave finish its job with a joker like grin on his face.

*ding!

"Hey Ian! Let's eat" Max then set the table, He really look proud of himself as he look at the table, two instant rice, ramyeon and fried chicken.

Ian just went out again of his room and grabbed some beer for the two of them and sit down to eat.

Looking at the food "we look so pathetic Max" and they just laughed.

Rest days are indeed needed.

"By the way, did you bring a woman in here?" Max then pointed out a pair of sunglasses that definitely belongs to a woman.

"Nope, Hurricane came in her earlier looking for Mia" Ian stated as he continued eating.

"Oh really, congratulations you didn't die, how is it meeting you ex-girlfriend?"

Right there and then Ian choked at his food and Max just laughed so hard.
