Chapter 49: From Mia Herself

Mia woke up after smelling food inside the recording studio, usually they are not allowed to bring in food but Blake knew that she's not going to move an inch from this place and would choose to sleep more than eating so as a devoted and kind supervisor he went on and brought her food.

"I know that you won't eat on your own so I took the initiative to bring you some" then he took out a bottle of prescription medicines "Florence also dropped by to give you this, he said that this will help with the headaches".

She just accepted the kindness that Blake is giving her, she knew her supervisor is really a kind man, it's just sad that he didn't marry someone, he will be a great father if he ever have some kids.

"You won't be giving a hard time in return to this right?" then she took a bite of her food, Mia is feeling a lot better now that she have slept soundly, she can now do some light work "I can go back to my studio to finish some work, I promise I won't overdo it"

"Alright, you know your body better that I do but please stop working right after your shift. No overtime" Blake knew that Mia would try to compensate for the days of her absence.

Mia just nodded in agreement and finished her food and Blake left her to eat in silence.

Right now, a lot of things are going through Mia's mind. She can't be sure that Ysa won't be talking but she knew that and she just need to ready herself to whatever consequence she will have to answer once her condition is out to everybody.

Regrets are really something that you can only know in the end, she wants to scold herself for being a coward, not taking the surgery when it was possible and right now she is racing against time. Now, only heavens knows what will happen to her and the only thing that she could do is do everything she needs to do while she can.

She can only laugh her situation off and move on like she always do, she is just thankful that she no longer have this suicidal thoughts and learn to face the situations that she in a more positive way even though she's currently dying.

"I guess that's the way life should be" and she just continued on eating her food.

"At least Blake knows what a good food is" she said out loud after cleaning up.

Mia was walking towards her personal studio when she saw somebody waiting outside the door.

"Mia"

"What are you doing here Kevin? I already made myself clear last night so I don't think that we still have something to talk about" she doesn't want to deal with him anymore, that's why when Ysa called her about what happened she firmly decided that the Kevin that she trusted before is now long gone.

She won't wait for him to get to his sense and change. Leaving him behind would be the best decision that she should have done 4 years ago.

"I can explain"

"There's nothing to explain, we already made our decisions, just let us go"

"Mia, just please listen to me first" Then Kevin tried to hold her hand but she refused to, this charades of him is been long overdue, she tried to understand, she tried to be nice and cut it of without being rude, but she lost so much already.

She won't deal with this bullshit anymore.

"I already did listen to you 4 years ago, but what happened? You don't deserve my time and trust Kevin, You proved that to me a lot of times"

Silence enveloped the two of them, she can never forget the things that she have to experience just being with him. That was way too much.

"You know that I love you right?" that was the first actual confession that Kevin did in front of Mia,

"You don't know how to love Kevin"

"I am pretty sure that I love you and I know that you can love me too if Terrence wasn't in the picture"

Mia can only laugh at the absurdity that Kevin is currently saying in front of her, her head is starting to hurt again.

"Let me clear something to you" you can feel that her aura have darkened because of the nonsense that Kevin kept on telling her.

There's not a chance that she will ever love someone like him.

"When someone love somebody, they don't hurt the people around them, there is no way that he will take everything that the person he loves away from them" then Mia looked at him directly in the eyes "that's what you did to me Kevin, you took away everything away from me"

"You first took away Terrence then you stumped on my dreams then separated me from my friends and locked me away from the world" this is also the first time that she also let out her emotions and she thinks that this is also the right time, Kevin needs to back off no matter what.

"You even stole from me, so where on earth do you picked up the idea that I could love you? After all the things that you have done to me?"

Kevin can only listen to what Mia is telling him, this is the first time that Mia have ever told him this face to face, and it as shattering his chest and it really hurts,

"Just stop, you're just upset because of what happened"

Mia can't believe that he can even deny the truth.

"No Kevin listen to me"

"No I won't you are just upset"

People around him are starting to focus their attention to them,

"You have to face the truth that I will never love you Kevin, not before, not now and not ever"

Then she entered her studio and left Kevin outside, she just called Argon to let him know that his brother is here at HGN and that she thinks he will need to pick him up.

On the other hand, Kevin can only kneel in front of the door Mia went in,

Hearing the truth from Mia herself shattered his world.

"Just what the hell are you doing there Kevin?!" it was his younger brother Argon.
