Chapter 54: Contract with Constellation

"I won't be signing a contract Ysa"

"Why? You can finally perform together with them without any restriction"

"I am the restriction, I can't do it anymore, all I can do right now is support them"

Then it hit Ysa hard, because of her condition Mia can no longer keep up with all the physical activities that she was doing before, even working in HGN, she now have certain limitation.

"But you can still sign with them as one of their producers" Mia knows why Ysa is pushing her to sign a contract, it is true that a contract might be binding but at the same time it can also protect her.

"I am, I am going to sign with Constellation" since the beginning even before when they are still with Viewbay, Mia doesn't like contracts, she thinks that making their producers and engineers sign a contract with them will only restrict them from growing and being out there in the world, being known by a lot of people, which greatly contradicts the reason why she even establish Constellation.

But now she knew better, and to make that change, she will be signing an exclusive contract with Constellation.

Ysa can't believe that Mia was the one who brought up signing a contract at Constellation, when they started to work together 4 years ago, she suggested this to her but she greatly refused, but now, she is going to be the first signed engineer/producer of Constellation.

"Sorry for the late notice, I need you to draft a contract for our engineers and producers, we will be signing them starting tomorrow" Ysa immediately called the head of their legal team, it might not be

Mia's intention but this will protect them also from losing their top talents.

Mia wasn't their only top gun. In the 4 years, they manage to get find some potential talents and was able to develop them into the best in the industry,

Great Records will start to make their move, and Ysa is sure that they will start with their man power.

"Maurice, Can you call up every engineer and producers that are currently working with us, we will be starting to sign them into contracts starting tomorrow, including you." She can't deny the fact that Maurice is almost at par with Mia's skill on being a Sound Engineer.

Back when she was still at Viewbay, Maurice Villana is called the Engineer, despite being a woman, she is the one who headed all of the technicalities required, and even Mia respects Maurice.

"Now that's a news, why the sudden change?" Maurice doesn't mind signing a contract with

Constellation, she's basically living in their building. Their operation is close to being 24/7, and Ysa doesn't cut short on acquiring the equipment that the engineers required, even without Mia, she loves working at Constellation.

The freedom that they were given to do what they think is appropriate and right is not something that you can see in the industry, most of the people who works with them thinks so.

"Not with Starlight?"

"Yes, with Constellation" Ysa is still at awe with the decision that Mia have done, she's feeling that they are becoming a proper company and they are being responsible to the craft that they are doing.

It was nerve wracking and exciting at the same time.

"Wow" Maurice can also feel the sudden responsibility but she is more than happy to take that on,

"I'll let them know"

"I have already talked to the legal team on drafting a contract, but we will need the comment and the demands of our colleagues"

"Leave that to me, I'll just inform the legal team on what will be their decision, they are all here so I can manage to do that"

"I'll entrust it to you then" Ysa then turned her attention to Mia who is currently watching Luna as they all sign their individual contract to Starlight.

She can see the content in Mia's eyes, she was aware that one of the reason why Mia is doing this is to give back what was lost to them 4 years ago.

Ysa can see that Patrick Fraust is a man worth trusting but she can never be too careful, she still have to see what will happen to this newly built relationship with a new company.

"Ysa, thank you for making all of this possible" she was taken aback by the sudden statement of Mia, it isn't common for her to say this kind of things, which makes this moment really important for her.

"You are the one who told me what I need to do Mia, this is also because of you" then she side hugged Mia.

She just wanted to be with her older sister for a very long time.

Mia just weakly smiled at Ysa, she's happy that all of the important people in her life are here with her right now, little by little she will need to accept that her time is limited and just make the most out of the time that the heavens will be giving to her.

After they finished the contract signing, Mia and Ysa went and joined the gentlemen who just stood up.

Mia offered Patrick Fraust a handshake, a sign that she is trusting him with the future of all of them.

"I might not be signing with Starlight directly but I can promise you that I will do my best" then

Patrick hugged her in happiness causing Terrence's eyebrow to meet in the middle.

"I know, I will do my best to live up to your trust" then Patrick let go of Mia and went in front of Ysa.

"And I look forward to our beautiful relationship" then offered his hand to Ysa, which Ysa shyly took.

Max on the back with Ian was trying to contain his laughter, Ian was emitting a black aura ready to murder someone 'I don't think things will go smoothly', seeing that Terrence and Ian is glaring at their new CEO.

"Now we have to celebrate this new beginning" Faux being himself is just happy at the new beginning that they have started.
