Back In The Days..

"And that would be all for today guys", Mr John said as he dismissed the class. We had been studying maths for up to three hours now. Some students had given up and slept off, while others were chatting quietly, less interested in whatever the teacher was explaining.

Almost immediately, I grabbed my bag which has been laying down lazily beside me, and left the class. It was becoming too stuffy and I was feeling nauseous already. "Jayden!", I called out. I haven't been seeing him around as usual, I wondered what was going on.

"Jayden", I called again and hurried to where he was, hanging out with his friends. They were just a few metres from me.

"What up Jay?", I said as I caught up with him.

" Hey, pretty. What u doing here?", Jayden asked.

(Omg , first compliment of the day) "Nothing, I was just passing by when I saw you", " Wanted to say hi", I said.

" Well then, hi", Jayden smiled.

Goddd, he was so charming

I smiled back at him. His friends who had been keeping quiet this whole time saw this, and gave Jayden a sly smile. Then one of them spoke, "I guess we'll leave you two for a while", he signalled to the others to follow him, and they all walked away, smiling back at Jayden.

" You lucky bro!", "That's a beautiful one!"

"Keep your eyes off her, nutheads", Jayden said as he looked down at me, again with the eyes.

I looked away and smiled, actually trying to remember what I wanted to say to him. Lol I was weird. " Why haven't I been seeing you around lately?" I wanted to know the reason.

"What? You must have been taking foods that hurt your eyesight then", he was laughing.

" Jokes apart I'm serious"

" And I'm serious too. I've been walking here and about since this week, how is it possible you didn't see me? Or , you intentionally didn't want to see me, darling?", he was at it again.

I hit him on the back and he bawled playfully.

"Come on, let's grab a drink", he held my hand and we walked away together.

I didn't know if it was just me, but for a reason I felt Jayden was keeping something from me, something I never wanted to know.

Duh

I shrugged the thought and decided to believe Jayden. After all, who has ever found it easy dating a celebrity?
