That is what she always wonder why her mother wakes her up to prepare for her younger sister for school.

Lunalo wake up and prepare for younger sister She will be late in school..said her mother.

She wakes up asking herself why my mother always asks me to take are of my younger sister but she is always at home why does she not do it herself I am so confused Lunalo kept asking herself questions she has no answers to,it is my responsibility to go and drop her to school and after school I have to go and fetch her everyday it's so unfair, her sister being her responsibility is starting to bother Lunalo now I because she is only 12 years old herself she feels like this is too much she should be she still needs a gaurdian herself.

She prepared her younger sister's lunch.

She then went to the bathroom to pour water so she will bath her younger sister Marisa who is 6 year's younger than her she is six year's old after that she quickly grabbed a remote and sat her down and opened her favourite cartoons while styling her hair.

Ok lil sis we are done go and take your backpack it's 6:30 let me walk you to school,Lunalo quickly went to her mother's room to tell her she is taking Marisa to school.

Mom we are living now

Her mother is a housewife and her father is a truck driver,he comes home every Friday be he sleeps in the hotel's during the week he delivers coffee, milk and knorrox to African countries they are a family of four living in South Africa Durban.

They Also have a family and relatives in another province called Eastern Cape,they Cape,they usually visit that family during school holidays and to spend Christmas.

Lunalo enjoys visiting her relatives to see her grandmother Mavis and her cousin's in the Eastern.

Her father's name is Malvern and her mother is Palisa.

Lunalo is a very responsible sister to her younger sister

But she is forced by her mother to look after her little sister,she is now used to taking care of her sister.

She is 12 year's old and her sister is 6year's old,she prepare her sister for school everyday:bath her comb her hair,walk her to school, help her with homework, wash her clothes, she always take her mother's rules who does nothing except shouting Lunalo when she does something wrong.

Is that what you want your younger sister to be?

Her mother's words whenever Lunalo has done something wrong.

I wonder why mom always shout at me like this?

Lunalo would ask herself questions she has no answers to whenever this happens .

Maybe I am being abused but my English teacher once told me that young people who are being abused are the ones who are orphans in most cases here is my mom and my dad is alive maybe I am just being paranoid or maybe dramatic a bit ,let me stop thinking about that I am not being abused, she is convincing herself trying to ignore her thoughts.

The holy spirit is activated by knowing God's words I need to start reading my bible whenever mom is shouting so that I will be able to come down because being called dumb by my mother is really killing me inside.

Lunalo has a lot in her mind while she is preparing her younger sister Marisa for school.

It is monday 19 January 2008 first day at school in a new year.

She is going to drop Marisa at school who is in first grade while Marisa is in six grade.

Their school are 4 kilometers apart so Lunalo has to go and drop Marisa before she walks to her school and she is always late at school but she feels like she does not have a choice it's her mother's rules:to take care of Marisa, never to eat cereal in the morning but save it and fruit for her it is very strange how her mother treats her.

After she is done bathing Marisa for school Lunalo quickly opens a tv for her.

lil sis come watch your favorite cartoons I am going to take a quick bath then we will leave I will go and drop you at school and then go to mine afternoon I will come and fetch you.

Ok sis,she replied.

Lunalo took a bath for 20 minutes she then went to her mother to tell her they are living.

Ma we are living now.

Ok baby take care of Marisa be careful when crossingthe road.

Ok Ma we will bye see you after school, Lunalo and Marisa bother fir school.

when they get to Marisa's school she showed her a class age is going to.

I an also very late go to the class Marisa,I will see you after school I will come with my friends to fetch you ,she then left.

Lunalo on her first day at six grade she is late even in the previous grades she was always late .

When she was about to enter in the class her class teacher mr Khumalo called her.

Hey come here,he said.

Why are you always late last year you were always in the list this school late comer's are you repeating that same mistake?

No sir,it is my duty to drop my younger sister at school everyday before coming here I start by dropping her.

So tell me why are you not wearing a blazer and a tie that has a school barge because that is what learner's wear on monday in this school?

I apologize for that mr Khumalo,I will tell my mom to buy it for me,Lunalo replied with promising eyes.
