Lin Jianhong nodded thoughtfully, "Your calmness and empathy is commendable, little Jiu. I will send all needed books and resources to your courtyard."

Chujiu took a deep breath, "Moreover, I wish to specialize in poisons," she confessed, her eyes meeting her grandfather's gaze unflinchingly. "In my past life, I was trained in the arts of assassination, where knowledge of medicine and poisons was paramount. I wish to utilise this expertise to serve our family too."

A stunned silence filled the room. Lin Shihong was the first to break the silence, "Little Jiu, are you trained as an assassin?"

Doesn't that mean she has undergone all kinds of inhuman torture?

Chujiu looked at the three people in front of her, she understood what they are feeling. Everything is clearly written on their faces. Moreover she can read minds accurately, another skill in her bag.

She felt warmth. She nodded, "Its okay, past is past... am I not still in front of you jumping around?" 

After a while Master Lin asked, "But you said that the people in that other world are not cultivators, will that knowledge work here?"

"Can those poisons be affective on our enemies?"

Chujiu nodded, "that is the reason I want to learn medicine and poison art here from basic level."

She turned to her grandfather and said, "I want to learn medicine and poison making of this world first and see if I can club both and introduce some unique poisons and medicines. Uniqueness will be our greatest strength grandfather."

Grandfather Lin fell in to deep thought

Madam Lin sighed and said, "Your intentions are noble, but such knowledge must be wielded responsibly. You are still young and poisons is no child's play. This path is filled with dangers".

Many poison masters test poison on themselves, some even lose lives, become lunatics, etc. She is concerned about her niece, the only daughter in the entire Lin Family. She is the one who brought her up after Chujiu's parents went missing. Her motherly concern is unquestionable.

Chujiu felt warmth in her heart, she nodded, "I understand the implications, Aunt. I will be careful."

All three of them gave their permission for Chujiu to start learning Medicine and Poison Art.

As Chujiu settled down to eat, the tranquil ambiance was interrupted by the arrival of her cousin brothers and other members of the Lin family. Lin Muchen, with his cold demeanour, was the first to speak, "Chujiu, how are you feeling today?"

Chujiu offered a gentle smile, "I'm doing well, Muchen."

Lin Haoyu, the mischief-maker, chimed in, "We heard you were in the study room all morning. Planning any secret adventures?"

Chuckling softly, Chujiu replied, "Just some family discussions, Haoyu. No secret adventures."

Lin Mingze, the youngest among them, looked up with innocent curiosity, "Can we help with anything, Sister?"

Before Chujiu could respond, Lin Yichen, her Little uncle, interjected, "Yes, Chujiu, if you need any assistance, don't hesitate to ask."

Chujiu nodded gratefully, "Yes Little Uncle, I won't be polite when I need your help."

Lin Kai, the head of the Lin family, approached with a warm smile, "Chujiu, remember, we're family. If you ever need guidance or support, we're here for you."

Chujiu's eyes glistened with gratitude, "Thank you, Second Uncle. Your words mean a lot to me."

Throughout the conversation, the family members subtly avoided probing into Chujiu's discussions from the morning. Their mutual understanding and respect for each other's privacy were evident, allowing Chujiu to maintain her composure without revealing the sensitive nature of her earlier conversations.

As lunch concluded, Chujiu felt a renewed sense of gratitude for her family's unwavering support. Though challenges lay ahead, their bond remained unbreakable, providing her with the strength and determination to navigate the complexities of their shared destiny.

Chujiu, after having lunch wanted to rest a bit before planning on her next steps.

She took a nap and woke up, she sat on her bed and started watching her personal maids. They are diligently doing the work without making any sound.

Cai Wei and Cai Meiying are devoted twin sisters who serve as personal maids to Lin Chujiu. They are 14 years old brought to the Lin family when they are 8.

4. Sage Realm (1-9 stages): Few reach this stage, but those who do are incredibly powerful. Usually the heads of the powerful families are at this realm.

5. Emperor Realm (1-9 stages): This is the highest level. People here are among the strongest in the world.
