Returning to the training grounds, my heart still pounded with the adrenaline of our victory over the beast. Brod's strong arms tightened around me, offering me the support and strength I needed to face what came next.
We arrived at the training ground, the familiar terrain awash with our previous battles. I could feel the earth's energy thrumming beneath my feet, a constant reminder of the power I had to wield.
Brod released his grip on me, stepping back with a serious expression. "Kyla, I need you to summon the monster you inadvertently conjured the last time. It's time for you to face its darkness and your own in order to tame the earth's power."
I swallowed hard, my mind racing with memories of our previous encounter. The beast had been terrifying, its darkness and rage manifesting in its every movement. And yet, we had triumphed together over it.
