Chapter 26: Most Powerful Spell

After two weeks of constant work, we completed the dungeon. I was thankful for the Preservation and Life Type magic spells, so while they are looked at as useless by many if they don't think of all the different ways they could be used.

The Preservation magic allows me to store the food in my inventory for a long time.

I have tested my inventory over the years and discovered that it doesn't stop time, mainly because my stopwatch was always showing the correct time even after being stored there.

Then there is life magic, or as it's also called household magic, that focuses on effects on the human body useful in everyday life. I can instantly clean myself in a second with just one spell.

So like I said, not many would think about learning spells that are considered useless in a fight, but they are still useful for me.

But it was time to create the last floor of the dungeon. The treasure room, and I know the exact reward to leave here.

I placed the one-use scroll on the pedestal in the middle of the room. It had the power to bring an otherworlder down to his knees. The scroll contained one single 'spell.' The one and only Rick Roll spell...

I spent almost two days making the scroll, but when used, it will play Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. I also thought about making it the Unlimited Salt Works spell, but that would be too far.

I wanted to chuckle just thinking about the hardships someone would face just to find this scroll.

I should make a recording artifact so I could watch their reaction after seeing and using the scroll. Oh, that would be fun.

"Why can't I see the scroll?" Ramiris whined while flying around me.

"Because it has only one use," I told her with a sigh. I tried the Insect Repelant spell on her, but it didn't work, "So don't touch it."

"We built a dungeon together, so aren't we friends?" She asked, puffing her cheeks in annoyance.

"No, we aren't," I answered with a flat look.

"Fine..." She huffed, turning around, "Then don't expect me to help you when you need it,"

"Hey, don't be like that," I chuckled, "Here, have a cookie." While she can be annoying most of the time, we made a good dungeon-creating troll duo. She took the cookie and started eating it, "I'll be going now. I will leave some information about the dungeon so people come here." I said before leaving the dungeon.

"B-Bye," She said while chewing the cookie.

I quickly stopped at Falmuth, leaving some information about a dungeon with a spell capable of going against a demon lord.

While I could do more, I knew there would be people who would risk it just to gain something so powerful.

It's not like I have something against the kingdom itself. For me, they are all the same, and they treated me the good, mostly due to being with Chronoa the whole time.

But if I would list all the countries from my most to least liked, they would be somewhere around last.

Plus, it's one of the countries I'm confident I could take on if this backfired on me somehow.

Having finished everything I had to do, I used shadow exchange with a shadow in my room.

My room hasn't changed much since I first arrived in this world. The only difference is the three bookshelves with my own books. I quickly looked through the various books I found during my short time traveling the continent.

I sat down on the chair and turned on the table lamp on the desk, and started thinking.

What should I do next? The holy knight training program takes five years to complete, so in two years, Aiden and Mai will complete it and start wandering the continent, helping people, and killing monsters.

But what should I do then? Of course, leveling up and growing my army is the obvious goal but other than that, I don't know what to do.

I don't have any big goals in my life.

I took the fountain pen that was on my desk and started spinning it, and looked at the ceiling.

Building a nation? No. It wouldn't be a good leader.

Becoming a Hero? I wouldn't cut it.

Becoming a Demon Lord? Maybe... But would it be necessary? I could easily get stronger on my own. The fact that I can with ease expand my magical capacity makes it easy for me to grow stronger, but the harvest festival could help evolve my unique skill into an ultimate one.

Running my head through my long hair, I sat and thought about my future. I haven't cut my hair for three years, and it already goes past my shoulders.

Should I cut it? I never cared much about how I looked, especially when I didn't have a choice in my previous life, and it hasn't changed in this one.

Well, Mom hasn't said anything about cutting it, so I'm just going to leave it as it is.

"El," I said and instantly got a response.

"How can I help you, young master?" My personal vampire maid asked. At first, it felt weird to have her instantly appear after being called, but I got used to it after the first months, and now it's normal for me.

"Make me some tea," I said, and she did a quick bow before disappearing using shadow motion.

Shadow Motion is an Intrinsic Skill for Vampires, and it allows the user to utilize Shadow Space. It is a space inside the shadow that connects it to other shadows and can be accessed through related spatial movement.

In a way similar to my shadow exchange, but I wonder if she ever entered my shadow, and if she did would she be able to see my shadow soldiers?

About five minutes later, she returned with a cup of tea and some snacks.

"Thanks," I thanked her, sipping the tea. I never knew that tea could taste this good. When I first tried tea in my previous life, it was bitter and cold, so for a long time, I assumed that's how tea was supposed to taste.

"I'm just doing my job," She bowed in respect before hiding in the shadows again.

I smiled. While she acts professionally all the time, I have seen her in the library reading many times, and I could say we became friends over our love for reading.

Author's Note:

Thank you for reading this chapter.

Should I give him a title like 'Troll of The Dungeon' or 'Troll of the Labyrinth' for making the dungeon?
