"Elana?"

I was brought back from my world and I looked up to meet Hazel eyes looking down at me. My hand was still on his chest and he seemed to have said something which I didn't reply to.

"Huh?" I asked.

"I said you shouldn't stop me." he repeated.

"Oh..." so that was where I drifted off from. I leaned in to drop a feathery kiss on the side of his mouth, partially touching his lips and lingered there for sometime before pulling back. I smiled when I saw the confusion in his eyes.

"We should probably get back to your party." I teased, patting his chest before getting down on my feet, taking my purse and slipping past him and the table.

I didn't wait for a response as I walked to the door. "I'll be downstairs." I throw over my shoulders, adding an extra sway to my hips as I walked fully aware his eyes followed.

Drake stood dumbfounded, staring at her back till she was out of view. 'what just happened?' he could swear they were having a moment just now, till she drifted off to God knows where. He could still feel her soft lips beside his mouth, and he wished he had turned his face on time, to get them on his lips. He chuckled when he felt Junior Dracula throb in disappointment as he was probably expecting to get some. 'What was Elana doing to him?' He could tell that she was seducing him some minutes ago, what with those fair thighs that he bet were very soft. Damn, he needed to cool off before heading downstairs.

Elana walked into the Elevator with a sigh of relief and mentally gave herself a pat on the back. She needed to leave there before she lost control, and she wouldn't have been able to escape also being alone with him in the elevator if she hadn't left first. 'A lot could happen in an elevator with two horny people.'

The elevator door opened while she was still recalling those tempting lips that were right in front of her, which took her will power not to devour. She slyly walked out as some drunk men staggered into the elevator and went to find Lily, that is, if she hadn't left already with Nate. She didn't find them at their table, but as she turned the corner, she spotted Lily's dress somewhere at the darker end of the hallway with a blue suited young man.

They had their tongues down each other's throats as Nate pinned her to the wall and a hand in her dress with one of her legs lifted, while her arms were around his neck holding onto him like her life depended on it.

Elana chuckled at her friend who always had a way with men and thought it best to let them be. Her phone rang and she fetched it from her purse to see an unknown number, but she could make out who it was from the last 4 digits.

"Speak." she said coldly into the phone as she sort a quiet corner of the hall. People had already started leaving as the party was already past closing time, most people were drunk, most were sober, some were stuffed with food.

"Come on Elana, is that a way to greet a very good buddy?" Seth said with a laugh as he leans back in his chair, pulling a bag of potato chip from his drawer.

"you have 2 minutes." Elana stated leisurely checking out her nails as she leaned on the wall.

"Wow, 2 minutes? you must be in a good mood today." Seth laughed again, opening his bag of potato chips, before getting serious. "Well, Peter called and he says we would start handling the affairs in Westline."

"I thought Daisy was handling that?" I asked with furrowed brows.

"Apparently, She called in sick, which we both know is not true cause she's probably somewhere in the country squandering money and having fun, and only comes to work when she is almost forced to take a loan. At this point, I'm envying her." he says dreamingly, putting a potato chip into his mouth.

"I am not doing it." I said in a final tone.

"I know, that's what I told him. But he says your Dad requested it. And I found out that we would be getting a new stand in chairman from the partnership with another company." He says.

"What, we are Partnering?" I ask surprised.

"That's what I heard boo, but I don't know the deets yet, so why don't you feed my curiosity and ask your Dad." he says propping his legs on the desk.

"Don't worry, I'd make sure to ask him." I sigh as I cut the call. I send Lily a text which she may probably not read till tomorrow, tell her that I'd left the party. I slip my phone into my purse and leave the building.

Peter was my Dad's Personal Assistant, and he runs most of the company's affairs. Westline was a gaming company under my name, inherited from my Father. But since I had absolutely no intention of taking over, my Dad had been happily running it, while I stayed in the shadows of the company, the technical department to be precise.

Only a few people knew that I was the intended CEO and owner of the company, because I made sure to keep a low profile although me being the best hacker in the country wasn't such a low profile. Many didn't know me as that, only Seth, my Dad and Lily and I intended to keep it that way, as I use random accounts whenever I wanted to hack, while maintaining a particular name 'Shades'. I could do what I loved best, while making cool cash, plus randomly hacking into companies and making extra money. Who wouldn't prefer that to boring Company stuff.

Technology was another interesting world to be emersed in, with the enjoyable sounds of playing on keyboards, while making magic in reality. I had countless times rejected my Dad's offer to take over, but I didn't expect him to take a bold step and partner? I mean, the Company was doing perfect fine as the top Second gaming company internationally, with about 6 different branches around the globe.

Since my Mum's death from a car accident, which I hardly remember as I was told I had been a month old at the time, I only had my Dad. He had no plans of remarrying and he had been the best Father, taking all my stubbornness and bullshit without much complaint. It must have been hard for him to train a little stubborn girl all on his own, but he loved me unconditionally.
