Alex Shocking Proposal.

Abby's POV.

Jack looked at me with the flower in his hand like he had seen a ghost. His eyes bulged out and I could sense the anger he felt seeing Alex peck me before him.

I watched his grip tightened on the flower hold and it made me smirk knowing that he was getting a taste of his own medicine.

"This is Alex, Jack. Alex , the father of my son" I divulged , wrapping my hand around Alex's neck with joy.

I gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek too before turning to look at Jack who couldn't believe his eyes.

"Who? And what do you mean by he is the father of your child, Abby? We had sex together, we had an affair and I'm sure I was the one who impregnated you!" He claimed with a shocking look at both Alex and I as we stood closer to the door.

"Oh My God…. You thought you were the one who impregnated me??" I chuckled as I left Alex's neck to face him properly.

"You were so overwhelmed knowing that the child was yours Jack but knowing that he would be a stillbirth, you gave up on both me and my child" I said with my eyes becoming all wet.

"I fucking took care of the child myself and vowed to give birth to him without your consent, Jack. You actually asked me to kill my own child… the same child you feel you gave to me huh??"

"It's enough, Abby. I think we should go inside" Alex said as he grabbed my arms to make me stop.

Tears had begun to roll from my eyes as I thought about what I had to go through because of Kate and Jack back then.

He made me lose my job and I wasn't working neither was I with money that was why I was so submissive to him back then.

"You fucking let your girlfriend push me to the ground because you wished to kill my child! Imagine if he had died, imagine if he didn't survive? Would you be able to get a child again?" I questioned with so much discontempt and displeasure as a torrent of tears rolled down my eyes.

"What do you mean by that?" Jack asked, seeing that I knew something that no one else knew, no one except Kate knew about it.

".... I would rather wish to be alone than see you act all righteous with a demonic heart and bad intention for me" I uttered spitefully as I sniffled.

I was going to return into the house while Alex shut the door but then, Jack got a grip of my wrist and pulled me back to himself without my notice and forcefully.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing holding her like that?" Alex hacked off seeing how Jack had dragged me back to himself.

"Let her go now!!" He ordered, gripping Jack's arm and was willing to break it off if he didn't obey him.

He was raged and by just his glare at Jack, I was pretty sure that he could stab him right in front of me.

"Let her go!! Don't you listen??" He bellowed, still glaring at him with his eyes turning red and his hand tightened on Jack's wrist.

"You know something Abby, you know something I do not want anyone to know and if it is, please promise never to let any other ear hear it" He trembled in fear as he stared directly into my eyes , pleading.

He had ignored Alex's warning to let me go at that point seeing that his secrets mattered to him more than anything else.

Considering the fact that I have fallen in love with him before and have a sincere and genuine heart, I found myself pitying him at that moment.

I suddenly went soft before him as his secret was supposed to be his and not mine. I kept mute like my mouth was suddenly glued with the strongest gum as I looked at him.

"What are you doing Abby? Take your hands off him immediately!!" Alex ordered, turning to look at me who had obviously forgotten that I needed to pull out from his grip.

Coming back to my senses, I instantly pulled my hand from his grip and walked into the house, ignoring him.

"Bye Jack!" I heard Alex say to him before slamming the door in his face.

"Abby?? Come on Abby!! I know you can hear me, open up let's talk please" He pleaded as he landed his hands forcefully on my door.

"He will come here again if you stay over Abby, why not come with me, come live with me Abby" Alex suggested as he came closer to where I was standing.

I paused for a second, thinking about what my decision would be at that moment. I looked up to Alex's face and I suddenly felt peace.

I was gloomy seeing Jack act that way but Alex was here to cheer me up, Alex had my back just like he always did.

"I will move in with you Alex, I accept to be with you" I responded with a smile on my face and without hesitation, Alex leaned forward for a kiss on my lips.

"We should begin to pack up and… I Need to wake Jayden , I guess he slept…." I was going to leave Alex's sight to go get my son but then, he held me back.

"If Jayden was in this house Abby, do you think he would still be in his room?" He pulled me closer to himself and wrapped his arms around my waist again.

With a smile on his face and his eyes all deem just how I liked it, he bit the lower part of his lips staring directly into my eyes.

I felt loved, I felt calm seeing him act that way despite what I have done to him all these while.

"Jayden is at my new place, Abby and he is waiting for his mom" Alex whispered with a gentle kiss.

We were still lost in our romantic world when suddenly, the door was forcefully opened from the outside which made us jerk.

Alex and I turned to the door, just to find out that it was Kate and Jack who were at the door this time.

"How did she get here?" I asked , still in Alex's embrace just how I wanted it.

He warned me never to let go because of Kate and I sure was going to do so now.

"Alex?? We are expected to get married, why the fuck are you with this bitch of a lady? If your mom hears about this she would…"

"I am my own man Kate and I can choose between a prostitute and a good wife" Alex responded, interrupting Kate's claims.

"Alex???" She bellowed with her hands tightened in anger as she saw Alex closer to me than ever.

He turned to me and kissed me for a second before interrupting his kiss on my lips.

"What are you doing?" I questioned as I wasn't sure I wanted to be their prey again just like I was when I was pregnant.

"Watch me make you a queen in front of them, Abby" Alex whispered and slowly, he went to his knees.

He had his right knee on the ground and the other used as a wedge for his body.

"Alex are you.. what are you doing?" Kate yelled out as she trembled in fear and displeasure.

I was dumb at that moment, I wasn't sure of how to feel or react to his gestures.

"Abby Wilson…." He took my hand and pulled it to himself with a smile on his face.

"Marry me, Abby. I promise not to leave you at the altar, I promise not to give up on you. I love you Abby and there's no better time to do this than now " He said, holding my hand in one hand and a golden ring in the other hand.

It immediately made me recall his first proposal to me in my office, the sweet and loving gentle man he was.

Tears of joy rolled down my eyes seeing how bold he was even in front of Kate who was his betrothed.

"I'm waiting for your response, Abby. Let's make these work out for both of us" He muttered to me.

"Yes.. Yes I accept Alex. Getting married to you has always been my dream and trust me, I won't want to miss this opportunity. Not in this lifetime" I responded without hesitation and my heart jumping for joy.

I watched him fix his ring into my finger and stood from the ground to embrace me tightly, in front of Kate and Jack.

I felt so excited,I felt so wonderful, I couldn't even control My tears. I loved Alex and nothing was going to stop us now from making more promises to ourselves.

"You will hear from me soon, Alex!" Kate stormed out of my house after saying which made Alex chuckle as he hugged me.

It's over now and I could see a happy future for us.
