- HAZEL -
I had a shower. I needed to wash my thoughts away and prolong the time it would take me to have breakfast hoping that maybe, just maybe, Killian would be at the table waiting for me.
Then I’d join him and eat with him till the right time to bring this up arrives. I don’t want to eat alone or look over that table and see no one staring back at me. It’ll get lonely.
I sigh, walking down the stairs, hair slightly damp and glued to my skin while putting on his shirt. No lights are on, walking through this path makes his home seem so desolate of any living presence but we’re both in here so why is everywhere so dark?
Is he even home? I can’t tell. He didn’t give me any details of his whereabouts at all. He just said he’d join me.
