"There is nothing I can teach to you, that's pretty odd for a child like you to understand it in four hours," the blacksmith said.
"Oh, I see, thank you for teaching me," I said to her.
Magic engineering was not that hard for me that understands the concept of science well, but still, I couldn't understand quantum science. Magical engineering is like science really, but oftentimes it's illogical.
"Hey, don't forget about our deal, okay?" He said as I walked to my fireteam.
"Finding you a large magic stone so I could get your whole store for free? Don't worry," I said while raising my eyes.
"Thank you, Wilson, I really appreciate it," he said.
"Guys, time is up, let's return to the inn," I said to them.
"Ok, Wilson," everyone shouted back at me.
We left the blacksmith shop then headed straight towards our car. They were confused about it. We were planning to train for this afternoon, but because of my deal with uncle blacksmith. I had to change the schedule.
"What are you going to do, Wilson?" Maria asked from the back seat.
"I'm going to fulfill my promises to the blacksmith guy," I answered while looking for something on the trunk of the car.
"Are you going to subjugate a mythical creature, Wilson? Are you nuts?" Garth said while pointing his head, mocking me as a crazy person.
"No, I'm going to use this," I opened the baggage then showed them an ATGM.
"What is that, Wilson?" Cecile asked.
"It's an FGM-148 Javelin, designed to kill a tank," I said to them while holding it.
"What are you going to kill?" Maria asked.
"A behemoth," I said.
"What???" They got surprised.
Behemoth is a creature that is 20 m tall and has an elephant-like body. It has thick skin that was easy to be penetrated, but any wound will only graze it. It has good fur, but I'm looking for its 2-meter large magic stone if my calculation is correct.
"You gotta be kidding me," Garth said.
"Nope, they are big, but their skin is no different than an elephant, so ATGM can do the job," I said.
"Whatever you say, Wilson," as Maria closed the door.
"What is this thing, Wilson?" Garth said as he pointed his finger to the radio.
"It's a radio. It plays music," I said to him.
"Oh, I see," Garth said as I turned on the air conditioner.
I turned the engine on then navigate the car through the busy street. Everyone was looking at us. They had a curious face when they saw our vehicle rolling down the streets without any horse.
"Wilson, can you do something about these people that are looking at us?" Maria said.
"Sure thing," I pressed a special button behind the steering wheel, then the windows got darker.
"Much better, now no-one can see us in this car," Maria said.
When we arrived at the city gate, a guard approached us. As usual, he asked our intention of leaving as the standard operational procedure. I opened my window then greet the guard.
"Excuse me, sir, where are you going?" He asked.
"To the outside, I'm tired of seeing the city wall all around me," I said to him.
"Off you go then," he said as he let me pass.
Before I hit the gas, "Have you seen any behemoth lately?" I asked him.
"I've seen them on the west direction of the town, it's hard to miss you know," the guard said.
"Thank you," as I drove away from the gates.
I drove to the west direction of the town by cutting through the grassland.
The town was getting smaller as we drove farther from the city.
"That's the behemoth," Garth said to me as he pointed his hand to an elephant-like creature.
I stopped the car then get out of the vehicle. There was it standing, A 20m brown abomination that was ready to be killed. It walked very slowly.
"Garth, grab the ATGM, then after we got a distance,, you may shoot it," I handed him the communication device.
"Roger that Wilson," he said as he got out of the car with an ATGM on his hand. I left him there and went away as far as possible. He also grabbed his AN/PRC-148 transceiver.
After I went as far away as possible, I contacted Garth.
Wilson: "Garth, I give you permission to fire."
Garth: "Roger that, Firing,"
A missile flew from Garth's shoulder and hit the behemoth head. The behemoth enraged afterward.
Wilson: "Garth, fly now, you must get out of there!"
Garth: "Roger that,"
He used the [Fly] spell and got out of the D.Z.
[Fly] is a spell that makes the user can fly up to the altitude of 1000 meters. It combines wind spell and strengthening spell.
I got out of the car then used my [Ultimate Summon] to make an experimental weapon; the General Electric PRL-147 Railgun. It is like a supersized Anti-materiel rifle with a futuristic touch.
The weapon magazine system separated into 2 parts. The upper part is used to store the special energy cell and the projectile, which were placed like a magazine. The magazine is a 20 mm round made from material twenty thousand times stronger than tungsten.
On the left side, there was a fire selector mode between 1 YA to 10 YA. In one YA, the cell will be depleted by 60 shots while 10 YA the battery will be consumed by just 5 shots. The magazine itself is a 10 round capacity.
Near the rail, I found a marking that I made with a marker in my previous life. A word of "fucking" between the word high and voltage.
I set the power to 10 YA then fired the railgun. A projectile fired from the barrel with a speed of sixty million meters per second. A thunder sound could be heard from the weapon.
"Wilson, what the hell is that powerful weapon?" Maria asked.
"It is the railgun, it's an experimental weapon, to be honest," I said to her.
"How about the behemoth?" Cecile asked from the window of the car.
"As you can see," I pointed my finger to a stack of red flesh.
Ten exa joule of kinetic impact will surely as hell penetrate anything. As a result, I programmed a projectile that evaporates after a distance of 10.000 meters. Although I don't know the exact range without the limiter.
"Is that the behemoth remnants?" Maria asked me with a scared face.
"Yup, it is the behemoth remnants," I said as I switch the railgun to safety mode.
"How are you going to search a magic stone from that pile of flesh?" Cecile asked me as she pointed at the pile of flesh that I made from the railgun.
"With this," I said as I grab the sword and dagger from the back of the car.
The magic stone is located in the heart of the animal. Although the behemoth is enormous, the magical stone size was probably only 1.5 m in diameter.
I wore an NBC suit with its gas mask and started to slash through the behemoth meat until I found its heart. Luckily, I found the heart still fully intact. I cut it and saw what I need, a blueish glowing ball that emitted powerful magic.
I rolled the ball to the car and made sure it fits.
The girls were also wearing their gas mask, although without the NBC suit. I put the ball into the car, then I got in the car and went back to the Costellia town region.
Sorry if this chapter disappoint you. I wanted to make the story exciting, but I hope this change of event didn't surprise you too hard.
Thank you for reading.
