Servants With a Modern Weapon

Wilson is a servant for the duke's daughter. Little to none known about him. Although something is puzzling about him, perhaps it's his reputation, or maybe it's merely his decency. However, nonetheless, people tend to pretend to be his best friend while wanting to know his secret. Sorry for my bad English since I'm not a native speaker. [Hiatus For Now]

Her cave

After Alexa wore that combat uniform, a first sergeant approached us. He informed that his platoon was on stand by.

"Our platoon is ready to go, sir," he said while saluting to me.

"Ok," I said as I headed to the armory master asking for my favorite weapon, which was the SCAR-H LB with 30 round magazines.

He gave me the rifle with a tactical rig full of 7.62 magazines. It also contained 5 blocks of C4 and 4 magazines of 4.6 × 30mm bullets. He also gave me a ballistic vest and a pair of legs and hands protector. He also gave me a pair of combat gloves.

I put the ballistic vest with its legs and hands protector. I wore the gloves and the tactical rig and a put on the FAST combat helmet with a comm kit.

The others were doing the same, too, albeit with their own weapons. Christine was also participating in this op.

Alexa will show us the way, and Christine will keep her occupied. Everyone had already stood by in front of the building, and there was a BMP-3 and an M1 Abrams battle tank. The platoon was already on stand by with their own equipment.

"General, everything is ready," the First Sergeant said while saluting to me.

"Ok, this person will show us the way," I said as Alexa passed by me.

"Roger that, general, you can enter the APC," he said as he opened the door to the APC.

"Ok," I said as I entered the APC followed by the others excluding Christine since she would be in the .50 cal turret hatch, and Alexa will be in the M240B one of the M1 Abrams MBT.

After some time, the APC started to move. The armored vehicle moved very slowly towards the gate of the military base. Maria was sitting in front of me, and Garth and Cecile were having a conversation with each other.

"Cecile, what do you think of a Second Holy War?" I asked her who was holding on her HK416-A5.

"A Second Holy War? Wilson, what makes you say that?" She asked me back with disgusted eyes that could be seen on her eye slit on her balaclava.

"Well, according to the recon that our squadron did last weekend, it was concluded that the Demon empire is going to launch an attack, thus triggering the next holy war. We know that the demon was even more prepared than before, and we must be ready," Maria replied to Cecile.

"I see, then how the kingdom supposed to react about that fact. Even the kingdom hasn't made a move yet on us since our AFB suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The only one that made a move was the Vialis's landlord, and we already have a deterrence for that," Garth commented on us.

"You're right, but I think the kingdom will start to distribute the battle mech, even to the academy. The mechs are going to give us a slight bit of advantage in this world since the demon has already developed an anti-mech weapon since the last war. Still, it wasn't deployed back then," Cecile answered.

"Anti mech weapon, huh? does our fighter jet count as an anti-mech weapon as well?" I responded with a half-smile on my face.

"it counts, as an anti mechs weapon. a mech with an S in the back, our jets will destroy them in one sweep if we are serious enough," Maria said to me.

"Haha, I wish I could test drive one," I said to them all.

Suddenly our conversation got interrupted by a communication from our comm kit. It was Captain Hasslebrown and Alexa itself. They were commenting about their experience dealing with a battle mech.

"So, a battle mech, huh? I would say that its quite a threat for an ordinary dragon, but not a semi-god dragon like me," Alexa commented while I heard the sound of racking a magazine from the headphone.

"She said that because she had fought fifteen of them at the same time and won. The battle mech is quite a deterrent, but not a good one since we need 7 battle mech just to take down an ordinary dragon. Not to mention her and her younger brother," Captain Hasslebrown interrupted.

"Fifteen? When?" I asked her.

"During the holy war between humans and demons. She was caught in a crossfire between those sides. She beat both sides, and the human and demon made a temporary cease-fire to deal with the dragon," Alexa answered to me.

"Ok," I said as I sat back to the chair.

"Wilson, wake me up when we arrive," Maria said as she put her helmet in front of her face, thus covering her whole face.

"Sure, I want to go to sleep to," I said as I set up an alarm clock on my phone.

I closed my eyes after putting the helmet in front of my eyes, and I went to sleep afterward.

2 Hours Later.

We have arrived at Alexa's cave. Apparently, it is more like a fortified structure made from durable concrete, and in there, there was a Leopard II parked near the entrance. It is the main battle tank produced in Germany. The cave also located in a massive regular mountain.

While the platoon commander stood by on the armored vehicle. The rest of us moved into the cave while searching for several things that were left by the hero. Well, there was a refrigerator, an air conditioner, a modern bathroom, and 4 large modern style bedrooms, and its all were inside of a cave. The cave was divided into several sections which were: 4 bedrooms with a bathroom inside, a kitchen, a dining room, an entertainment room, a garage, the main bathroom, and the main armory itself.

"Well, Alexa, you maintain this cave, huh?" I said as I inspected several weapons on the armory.

"Yup, I used the homemade oil to clean it up, but sadly the whole ammo has run out, so this thing only served as a memento to our hero," Alexa said as she showed us the well-maintained weapon.

Suddenly, in the middle of the armory, I saw a cassette tape in the middle of a table. Beside it, there was a sign that read, "Play it if you can."

I grabbed the tape and played it on the tape player, which was located in the belt of my combat uniform and heard it. I got surprised by the first sentence of the tape.

"Hi Charles, it's been awhile, hasn't it?"
