Classes & Skills

Jax was silent as he read all the information in front of him. There was alot to read and alot more to process. Leaving aside the whole successors thing that seemed like a chain quest and a half, this Unique subclass turned him into a monster.

"Whelp, I know I'm now the protagonist. I couldn't have gotten any of this without that bullshit luck MCs always get." Jax chuckled to himself, unable to be shocked at this point.

He just didn't have the time to process things so maybe later on he would feel the rush of excitement and fear in a few hours.

After he touched the mystery card, he heard another notification.

[Random amount of currency generated]

[You have earned 1 copper! Congrats!]

"HAHAHAHA THERE IT IS! I knew I wasn't the protagonist! I would've gotten like a million gold or some shit if that were true!"

Jax laughed manically as the space around him distorted and he was pulled back into the dungeon.

Succie had been jumping around with the gift so she was sad to see it go, but she went right in for a hug that took Jax by surprise.

He tried pulling her off but was met with more teary eyes.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you already crying?" Jax was annoyed again but she answered quickly, "You were gone for so long I thought you logged out or something! I thought you were leaving me behind!"

'Oh, so that's it.' Jax realized his blunder since he wasted so much time in that room.

"Sorry, I didn't know how the mystery gift worked so it took a while." He began going through his system again to see the changes.

She giggled and continued hugging him while Jax saw he now had a subclass section with the long title there. The system had to turn it into an ellipses at the end since it was so long.

"How much exp do you need to level 10 and tell me about your skill." Jax wanted to know all his avenues before they tried busting out of here.

He began binding the golden tooth to him while Succie spoke, "Umm I need 900 more exp and my skill was another tank skill, shield bash."

Jax stopped a second, "Why did you chose tank if you weren't even gonna get taunt? That's like their main skill yet you chose to try and turn it into a fighter class. Can you even use shield bash without a shield?"

Jax was disappointed, but he could see the potential in her weird class now that he got a chance to see her fight.

She could act as a tank when needed for a short time before hitting back with high power and magic. He didn't know if she had any more spells, but with all her mana she could learn plenty and still be fine.

"What's the stats on it?" Jax inquired as he was looking at his class change.

She still had her arms around him while looking off to the side at her system. Jax barely registered what she said as he quickly chose [Gunslinger] as his class.

'Assassin sniper is exactly what it sounds like. I'd basically shoot from far away to one-shot players or monsters.

'[Forest hunter] is basically a trapper. I'd have to start using a bow for it too. Both don't fit my current play style.

'[Crit Ranger] is interesting as it increases my Crit rate and damage by a lot but because of [Gunslinger] it's my second choice.'

Jax took a second to look at the new skills he got at level 10 and only found one good one.

After he was done, he finally realized that Succie had her arms wrapped around his waist with her hand intentionally brushing up against his Sentinel.
