Chapter 54 – Exploring the Palace

Theo went past the guards and the aristocrats who came here with high hopes to arrest him. As he moved near the beautiful lady, he whispered, "You can also join my sect instead of being caged here, forced to marry an inept prince who doesn't respect you. His status his half gone after today, you know? What's status compared to strength?"

Edward wasn't there to curse at him, but the aristocrats around her all turned ashen. They hesitate for a short moment, but eventually chose not to say anything next to the second prince. The girl in question pretended not to hear anything, and nobody could tell what was thinking about.

'It'd be a shame if she doesn't join,' Theo mused to himself. The noble lady wore a long dress that didn't hide the way it curved around her bottom. Even if her mounds weren't too impressive from the front, she had lush black hair that almost looked like one mass in its flowing style.
