Chapter 63
Roselle and Lylic hearing this felt a sharp pain in their heart. It seems the little girl had misunderstood them. They weren't nice to her because they thought she was their cousin, even though they found out late that Stephanie was their cousin, they still weren't on her side. They wanted to teach her a lesson.
"I Know darling" Lylic whispered to her ears "Just wait and watch" she said with a smile. Hearing this Suzan suddenly felt warm, she didn't understand what was happening but she felt relieved and for the first time she felt the feeling of having an elder sister's protection.
"You are Aunt Eunice's Daughter, Stephanie?" Roselle asked
Seeing that her skills were effective she had a smile on her face "yes I am" she replied happily.
" My family has nothing to do with business. Family matters are treated at home, while business matters remain in a building like this. I don't mix both. So what is delaying your payment, why haven't you paid the money for the items you signed?"
Everybody in the room has their face bowed down to earth. The rumors were true, Roselle indeed was cold and cruel. Seeing the silence, she got more angry "is it that you thought that you were my cousin so you didn't have to pay the bill of what you owe?" She said, looking at her with surprise. It was like she was looking at an alien.
"Speechless"
"Don't tell me you were expecting me to come over and pay your own bill?" She said again looking so angry.
"Cousin, I didn't mean to …."
"My name is Miss Roselle Kings address me the same way as others" she said looking at her strictly.

This time for really Stephanie felt like crying her heart out. She has never been so embarrassed her whole life, she couldn't really explain the way she felt.
"Miss Roselle Kings, I really didn't mean to get those dresses" she explained
"Then why did you sign the documents that came with my dresses? If you weren't willing to buy them, then why did you sign it?"
(Stuttering) " I.. I… Really didn't read through the papers"
"That isn't my mistake, you were meant to read whatever you were told to sign. How would you be making the payment by cash or card?"
"Can…. We talk about it at home..?" She pleaded. This was the only thing she could come up with, she couldn't tell everybody here that she didn't have such an amount.
"I don't know how dumb you could be, I just told you I don't take business home. So dear Cousin, answer the damn question. If you want have such an amount you would pay back on installment but I doubt if that would be possible, I can't wait for that long"
Roselle was about saying more when her phone rang. The tune vibrated through the whole building erupting the silence. Picking up the call, she smiled. She knew what this was all about. Roselle purposely made the Caller ID 'Mom' visible for all to see. On this she decided to place the phone on loud speaker. Stephanie seeing this had a smile on her face.
