"Selom, you are really something. I and your Aunt had given you a lot of advice before you left the hospital. You promised to keep them, but immediately you got out of the hospital you threw everything we told you into the bin'' Teresa said with a frown

(Laughing) " Mom, it's really not that way. When I got to work I had a lot of things to do. Come to think of it, I had gone to the office with the intention of shifting my fashion company's head quarter to Australia and I wonder how I forgot the reason I was doing that." She said, sounding very embarrassed. Her child must be very disappointed in her.

"Really? You're thinking of travelling to Australia?" Teresa asked with interest. Her daughter was already getting prepared.

"It's just a thought mom, I haven't decided yet, I want a good environment for my child. Somewhere calm and quiet" she said with a smile. (Pauses for a second) " Why are you here alone? What happened to Dad?" She asked

"(Sigh) He went on a business trip"

(Frowning) " That's weird, He didn't tell me he was going out of town" she said.

(Pinching her nose)" If you had picked up his call during your working hours you would have know" she replied

(Sigh) " It would be bad breaking the news to him on the phone" Selom said

"It would be terrible, bit not to worry your Aunt would handle the whole process"

"Aunt Clara?* 

"Yes, you've been away from the country for decades and it seems the bond between the both of you isn't as strong. I'm Sure a dinner would fix that up"

(Smiling) " it would" she said nodding her head. Looking at her mother she chuckled. She could tell that there was something her mother wanted to tell her but she's thinking twice about it. " Mom, just spill it out. What's wrong?" She asked

" Nothing Darling, I thought about telling you the result from the board meeting but I think you need to rest. Your body is too tired and it would affect the baby. It's already late" she said sounding very worried

(Sigh) " Mom, You don't have to get so worried. I had an hour of sleep when I came back home, so I'm fine. What was the result, how did the pregnancy come about?" She asked

Hearing this question she was quiet, actually she had no answer to this. "Darling…. We actually Don't know but an investigation would be carried out" she said, narrating the whole story and all their conclusions.

"$10 million dollars? Who suggested that?" She asked

(Laughing) " it seems you are pleased with that amount" Teresa said teasingly

(Laughing) " Mom, you know I don't lack money, I could get more than that if I placed them in my live shows you know?" She said proudly

"Oh oh, Someone is flaunting out her wealth. Your highness please have Mercy onn our hospital, go easy on us." Teresa said bowing her head down. Both women immediately burst into laughter. After they were done Teresa took her daughter into the room and put her to sleep.
