"Dr. Teresa, I apologize for what happened earlier, I am very sorry. I didn't know what I was doing then" he said looking at her and Clara, he could see that both women were talking about something so serious. He didn't want to interrupt them but he had to. Because he didn't want to miss the chance of making an apology.

Teresa, seeing how sincere he was, felt pleased. The suggestion they've accepted in the board meeting was as a result of his idea. So she was no longer angry with him. (smiles) " it's okay, I don't hold a grudge against you. Since you've known your mistake and have worked on it. I have no problem at all" she said, sounding very honest.

"Thanks, alot" he said. Now he had to find a way to deal with his friend, Patrick.

(Clears his throat) " Dr. Patrick, about what I said earlier, you know I didn't mean it at all right? You know I wouldn't hurt you intentionally" he said putting up a fake smile.

Patrick knew what Clinch was up to so he ignored him.

"Talk to me, we've been friends forever and now we would soon become a family" he said tugging his friend's sleeves.

(Releases himself from his grip, and was about standing up) Clinch seeing this jerked him downwards. "He he he…. I just apologize for what I said earlier, save me some face. Doctor Clara and Teresa are still sitting beside us. It wouldn't be nice we fight in their presence" He said with a face red from embarrassment.

"I have no business with you, you just sold me and my daughter out and you want me to save you some face? Did you save me any face?" He asked with a frown

"I'm sorry for that. Forgive me already" Clinch said, giving him a pleading look.

"Okay, Fine, I forgive you" He said

"Really?" Clinch said, smiling at him.

Looking at the weird smile, he moved back a little. "What's with your smile!" He asked

"Oh, I am just happy, so you've really forgiven me?" He asked again

"Yes I have"

"That's good, so tell me something, what does it mean for one to adopt a minute?" He asked.

"I knew there must be something you need my help with," He said, frowning.

"It's really urgent, it's not a crime letting you know as a friend right? I don't know what it is all about" he said sounding really ignorant

"Is it that your Brain has gone numb and dumb as you grow older?" He asked, he was dying to ask this question. He couldn't understand how bad his friend's relationship was with the outside world.

"Speechless", " I didn't lay down all my pride for me to get insulted you know? Just tell me, afterall you know better than I do, all I have known how to do all these years is to give out concrete prescriptions and how to treat my patients" He said seriously.
