Chapter 150

 It could be likened to a situation when you are locked up in a cell, you don't have any freedom then later you are given the key to the cell. You could just immediately free yourself from that bondage but you chose to sit in the cell with the key in your hands.

Unknowingly to Phil, Selom had planned to add more sweetness to his life, to give him more good times and happiness. She wanted to let him see another different way of looking at the world. You could stay anywhere you want to and still be happy, it all depends on your choice and how hard you work towards it.

After giving him some instructions, Selom disappeared. She had told him to stay indoors, he would only leave, if they came to call on him. Phil didn't feel any source of pity for the young mistress. This was because she felt she was always on top of the world.

In the mansion Jackson had gone to check on his daughter. He had been with her yesterday but she had her eyes closed. All he would do is read her some interesting novel.

"Master, he hasn't left his room for two days now, he's still indoors. It seems he got himself busy with cleaning"

(Laughs) "That's very weird, he doesn't take personal hygiene into consideration. It seems our boy must be In love" 

"You can let him be for now, get me, the doctor. The mistress has been asleep for too long. It's on like her to sleep so much"

"Okay Master" his right hand man said and left

Few minutes later, the doctor walked into the room where the young mistress was laid. He was indeed surprised, why was she still asleep? This was strange, if it was just the wound on her arm, it would have been healed by now. "Master, how many days has she been asleep?" He asked

"After you tried her, she woke up for about half an hour, throughout yesterday she had been asleep. This morning as well, she slept throughout. Now it's almost evening, I am beginning to get worried about her." He said, sounding depressed.

"This shouldn't be the case," he said, moving closer to her to run a check on her. Touching her wrist, he staggered, What was happening?

Jackson seeing this had a terrible look on his face. "Master I have bad news, it seems the lady is paralyzed." He said shakingly

"How can that be possible?" He shouted

The doctor moved again to run a check on her with his tools, she was indeed paralyzed. He couldn't explain it himself, he didn't see any sign of this when he had first treated her. This could only be the result of poison. "Master, please calm down. Has the young mistress been fed with anything after the first treatment I administered?" He asked

"She had been asleep, I haven't left her side since then and even if I was to leave, I kept a strict watch on her. So what's the problem?" He said with an angry tune, the person in question was none other than his favorite girl, he now regretted sending her all on her own.
