The stranger on my balcony I

It was just another normal day for Selena, even the plate piled up on the sink doesn't seem to help her aching body. she was at the back of the restaurant washing plates after plates.

"Selena be fast with those plates they are lot of order tonight", Ashley Selena's coworker said she was taking in the already washed utensils.

she worked for a small restaurant down town, and despite it being small it has a lot of regulars and considering it was Friday the day couldn't go any better.

"I already worked pass my work time"

"you are getting extra pay for this"

Mr Alberto the one in charge said. Selena blink at the thought of extra money her raven dark eyes closing shut to say a silent prayer to not be shut out of her apartment by her strict landlady it was already pass the curfew.

"okay just one more hour then am done"

"That why you are the best"

The best which led her to spend three more hours till the restaurant closes. She bid her coworkers bye promising to take the day off tomorrow since she was extra worked.

It was pass 1:30am in the morning and the entire street of her neighborhood was quiet the dark path leading her to her way home was silent only the sound of her footsteps were heard she took a turn her hearing sharp she could hear the sound of snoring doing justice to the night.

Finally getting to her apartment and most definitely Mrs Lola had locked the gate. she took a left turn and climb over the high fence smoothly she had always been different from other which made her wonder why she was abandoned.

she finally lay on her comforting bed which was about to drag her all the way to dream world when her hearing pick up a sound climbing up her balcony.

immediately she pick a bat off the side wall and wait for the sound to reveal it source.

He jumped on the balcony balancing himself and dusting his hands while looking down where he came from, Selena slide the door open ready to hit the intruder only to be swiftly nail to the wall while his hands grip her neck tightly but enough to not hurt her. He cover her mouth to prevent her from screaming, he was inhumanly fast which she don't understand was he an athlete or a gym regular. They were close to the shade so she couldn't describe his features but he was almost three feet taller than her.

"Don't scream and I won't hurt you", his voice was calm as the night and he smelt refreshing like mint.

He let go of her mouth slowly but Selena was not ready to listen he pose a threat to her who climbs up someone's balcony in the middle of the night.

she opened her mouth to scream but he knew what she was about to do so he pulled her into the room and lock the balcony so fast she didn't know when she was knocked out .
