Chapter 5

Natasha POV ¶¶

My heart hurts, I can't get Sheila of my mind.

{Car blaring!...}

The gateman rush to open the gate and I park in.

As soon as I park, I hurriedly step out of the car to hug my lovely mother. She instantly steps out of the house as she perceives my car.

We are walking towards each other.

"XxHappy Saturday mother!."

I hug her

"Thanks and welcome home, baby!."

She perks my jaw.

"I'm so happy to see, you!. It's been how long now, two, four months?."

She asks

Then we move in.

"Mum, two and a half month to be precise!."

She is a drama queen.

And I believe all mothers are!.

"Okay!."

She drags her words.

"Where is Daddy?."

I wonder aloud

"I guess he is out there working his ass up, as usual!.".

She gaily replies

"Dad!."

I just nod at her reply.

As I enter the living room, a strong aroma strikes my beak!.

"Wow, it smells so good!."

I rush into the kitchen and I quickly open the pot.

We are foodies, lovers!.

"I know!."

She brags

I noticed the pomposity in her tone.

"Hahahaha, mum you got no modesty!."

I whisper

"Why should I?."

She murmurs back into my ears, then she leaves my rump and moves further.

"What brings you home today?."

Mum wonders aloud, as she moves ahead of me.

I follow her to the living room and we take seats.

"So...?"

She stares at me.

"Dad invited me over!."

I try to steer away from her curious gaze.

"Your dad asked you to come on Sunday!. but here you are, home on a Saturday morning!."

She peeks at the time on her watch

"At 9 am in the morning!. Weird!."

She shouts like a coup.

I roll my glimpse away!.

"The Natasha I know will never scoot room. So baby, tell me what's wrong with you?."

She clenches my hands.

I frown.

"I had a fight with my friends!."

I hastily explain.

"Oh, sorry!."

She cuddles my hairs

"With, Nina, Rina and Gina?."

She asks

"Yes!."

I seriously nod at her with my tragic glances

"What happened!."

She insists, in making me, converse.

I first hesitate,

Then I remember that I got no one to talk to, all my friends are mad at me and my boyfriend is out of town, it's been some weeks now.

And I don't want to go to stay alone at my apartment.

I take a deep breath and exhale.

"They are Green-eyed because I got a new friend!. Her name is Sheila. So, Gina, Nina and Rina, made me say horrible things about Sheila and she heard it while I was talking. I didn't know that she was around. I mean back from the privy. She heard everything I said and I just said those things to prove myself to the girls!."

I cry out.

I now I feel relief, I needed to talk to someone and to explain myself!.

"I see it now!. You need to go and apologise to Sheila if that will absolve your heart and I think it's the right thing to do!."

She says her mind

"You are right!."

I just nod at her

"And Sheila is really a nice person, I really do appreciate her presence!. When I am with her, I feel different. You need to see her mum, I guess you will love her!."

I get all excited when I speak about Sheila

"You always speak about your friends with so much fondness that, it really gets difficult to recognise which one is your favourite!."

She is familiar with my blabbing that it doesn't move her as it's supposed to.

"No mum, it's really different with, Sheila. She effortlessly brings out the best of me. And I just feel like giving the world to her. I miss her!."

I clarify with lots of affection

"OMG, my daughter is a lesbian!."

My mum outrageously shriek

She is pulling my leg, and I fall for it.

"Like seriously?."

I get stunned

"No!. You talk like you were in love with her!."

She gets serious

"Kind of!."

I pull hers too

"Oh, my goodness!. I'm done with this conversation!."

She gets up from her seats and moves to the kitchen.

"I am kidding!."

I shout as she moves to the kitchen to check on her food.

"Whatever, I am done!.".

She yells back!.

Then, I later on

Move behind the house to seat and have some fresh air. We have a nice garden and a beautiful view of the town behind our house.

I love the fresh wind that blows on me.

"Please bring me some Orange Juice!."

I order the housemaid.

"Okay, ma'am!."

She quickly gets me a drink.

I sip it as I look at cars passing from a distance. With Sheila still in my mind.

{Car blaring!... in the house}

"I guess it's dad!."

I tell myself

And I hurry out.

When I reach out, I see my dad walking into the house, straight in my direction as he sees me.

"Quick!."

He explains as he hugs and perks my forehead.

We walking into the leaving room.

"I'm eager to hear what you have to tell me!."

I whisper at his comment...

We are standing in the leaving room with me by his side.

"After lunch!. For now, let's have some nice time together!."

My dad exclaims

"Darling, welcome back home!."

My mum steps out of the kitchen and plugs into my dad's arms

I step away.

He tightly clutches her back.

"How was your day?."

She asks.

"Good, I can't complain!."

He replies

"Though I didn't appreciate the critics by your arsenal!."

He whispers to mum.

She is the owner of a publishing house and she has lots of different types of magazines and newspapers papers that she publishes.

She rolls her stares away.

"We had to publish that, regardless of your status as my husband. We publish the truth for the good of the citizens!. And your employee was treacherous!."

My mum explains as the sluggishly walk to their seats, in each other's arms.

I am already seated and I am gazing at them, with a weary stare.

"I just need your publishing team to get off my ass!. It's like you guys are making a fixation on my business!."

He scoffs

"And I guess this obsession on me and my business is as a privilege of being your husband?!."

He gives her a weird stare

She feels guilty

"I don't want to be accused of discrimination!."

She whispers

"Oh, I see it. So I have to face the consequences and overlook at your team's excess?."

He wonders aloud

"That isn't what I mean!."

She doesn't know what to say

Dad noticed it.

"Anyway, I have fired that waiter!. I hope it's fine for you and your co-workers?."

She gives him a soft smile

"I will discuss with the head of the department and we will see what we can do!."

She exclaims

"Do it, get off me, my business and my life. That is all I am asking for!."

He insists

"Noted!."

With that, she moves to the kitchen and my dad seats on the couch.

.

.

A few minutes later,

Then lunch is served!.

We eat, drink and laugh!.

After lunch, we move behind the house to relax while the maid is cleaning.

"We have something to announce to you!."

My dad calls for my attention

"Haha, not we!. You have something to tell her!."

My mum rectifies with a conny smile.

My dad doesn't retaliate. And je keeps talking to me.

"My daughter you know I love you, right?."

He asks

This is getting weird.

"Yes...!..."

I pull my words.

"And I believe it's time for you to think about your future and how to keep our legacy prosperous, even after when I will be gone!."

He explains

Now, I'm worried.

"Dad, don't speak like this, you still got a long life ahead of you!."

He smiles at me and he perks my hands.

"So for that to happen, you have to get married to an influent man. And lucky for you, the prime minister's son is a celibate!. His name is Freddy and he will be back into the country in two weeks."

My dad tells

"And what does this Freddy got to do with me?."

I wonder aloud...

"He is your future fiancee and husband. So get ready to welcome him as soon as he gets back into the country!."

He raises his voice at my stupid question.

I chuckle because I know that he isn't serious. He is just pulling my leg or give a suggestion.
