Clayton Howard heard her and glanced outside the window, watching the pitch-black scene. He asked, "What time is it now?"
Camila Walker glanced at the ladies wristwatch on her left hand, "It's past 2 in the morning."
"No need, I'm not hungry."
Camila Walker was once again dumbfounded, not understanding why he would ask her the time first before saying he wasn't hungry.
But could a grown man really not be hungry after not eating for so long?
She looked up at the man in front of her, "You haven't eaten all day, there are still many places selling late-night snacks outside, I'll go buy you something!"
Having said this, Camila Walker was about to stand up.
The moment she stood up, Clayton Howard felt somewhat anxious inside, "I've said I'm not hungry!"
Perhaps afraid that she would really go out alone so late, his tone became somewhat hurried.
But to her, it sounded more like impatience.
