Catherine's POV
I had just finished eating when Felix walked over. "Leave the lunch box to me. I'll wash it after taking it back."
"I was just about to get it washed."
"No need." He cleaned up the lunch box and wiped the table. Then he stood up straight and smiled at me, "I'll have the kids back around 9:30. That's why I asked them to come over to my place. Besides, they would probably keep asking you who their father was if they were here."
I froze for a moment. "Did they ask again when they were at your place? After all, they had asked a few times on the way back, and you had brushed them off."
"Yes, but don't worry. I have already calmed them down. They won't mention it when they come back." He looked at me with his gentle eyes. I blushed and said to him, "Thank you so much. I'm so glad that you are here."
"Don't mention it. I guess you need some privacy. I'll go back. Good night."
I sent him to the door. "Good night."
