19. His Nightmares Has A Secret

They all were now standing in Jimin's room as Yoongi had suggested Chaerin Namjoon and Seokjin lighted up the candles in Jimin's room while Jimin was sitting on the bed he was afraid that he might well end up seeing Dong Hyun again but the thought of seeing Dong Hyun behind the bars was satisfying. He inhaled a long breath trembled his leg in nervousness.

"Don't worry Jimin this is the last time you have to visit that basement I'll make sure it won't happen again," Yoongi said taking out a long red thread from his bag. "Tie the one corner on his hand," He said extending the thread towards Taehyung. while he gave the other side to Jungkook and asked him to tie on his wrist.

"What is it for?" Jimin asked curiously.

"Through this thread, I will be able to enter in your dream, It means I will visit the depth of your mind," Yoongi explained. He then sat beside Jimin and they both made themselves lay on the bed closing their eyes they tried to fall asleep. While the others were sitting on the floor waiting for them to sleep.

"Should we trust on him, I mean Yoongi?" Jungkook raised the question looking at Yoongi suspiciously. "What if things get worse," Jungkook showed his concerns.

"Do we have any other option," Seokjin replied?

"He belonged to the priest family he had some psychic powers and he got trained by his grandfather, I'm sure he will help us," Hoseok defined Yoongi but it didn't help them to decrease thier fear which was very visible on their faces.

"I wonder why he's visiting his mind," Chaerin said her eyes were constantly glaring at Jimin who was now seemed in a feeling of sleep.

"Maybe he wants to see the things which Jimin couldn't see yet," Namjoon assumed.

"I'm so afraid, I just want to end this," Chaerin said. "You don't how much he was broken after getting a call from Dong Hyun, He even tried to cut his wrist," Chaerin continued to speak about Jimin while the concern was visible on her face.

"Don't worry I'm sure everything will be fine," Namjoon said patted on the back of her head suddenly all the candles were blown. And the lights were started to flicker now Chaerin's fear was merely increasing as she wasn't aware of what was happening with Jimin. Although Sunmi hadn't tried to haunt her but living with a ghost in the same apartment was a bit creepy for her. "I think the thread started to work" Namjoon resumed.

Closing his Taehyung was praying as that's was the only thing he could've done for Jimin. The night was getting deeper the thrilling silence was getting in thier nerves and they all were desperately waiting for Jimin and Yoongi who were now standing amid the room filled with darkness.

"Where we are?" Jimin asked holding Yoongi's hand he wandered his surroundings he looked at the various doors in front of him. "Why are so many doors here?"

"We're inside your mind and these doors lead you to your memories," Yoongi replied.

'Let's go, I don't want to see them at all." Jimin said.

"Okay then let's find the door which leads you to the basement," Yoongi said started to walked in the specific direction to find the door of the basement.

After struggling for the next few minutes they both found a red door in front of them. "There it is, The door of the basement," Jimin said pointing his finger.

"Are you ready to visit that basement for the very last time?" Yoongi said with a smirk on his face.

"How can you surely say it's the last time?" Asked Jimin. Although Yoongi seemed certain about solving the issue Jimin had no hope or perhaps he didn't want to jump to the conclusion.

"Everything happens for a reason I'm sure there will be a reason why she always dragged you in the basement, maybe she wanted to show you something you couldn't see yet," Yoongi replied the creaking sound of the door echoed in the silence when Yoongi opened the door.

Jimin hesitantly peaked through the door as he was afraid he might fall again, "What are you waiting for let's go" Yoongi said stepping down the few stairs.

"I had fallen the last time I don't wanna hurt myself again," Jimin replied.

Yoongi chuckled lightly "Don't worry I'm here I won't leave your hand if you slip again," He said patting on his head.

"Yeah, don't treat me like a kid," Jimin showed his disappointment stepped inside and they both started to walked down the stairs.

"You're younger than me, So I can treat you like a Kid," Yoongi continued to tease him.

Jimin gave him a vague smile this time. "Hyung, Thank you, for helping me I'm grateful for you," Jimin said.

"If you're honestly grateful for me so stop trying to hurt you stop pitting yourself because in your opinion you might be drowning in the ocean but for someone like Sunmi you're a hope of something good," Yoongi said. Somehow his words were effective and had the power of healing his soul. And Yoongi wasn't wrong at all, Jimin was a light of hope for Sunmi who could help her to find the peace she was trying to find for two years.

"I want to help her I want to punish Dong Hyun," Jimin said he was determined after coming to know that Sunmi was killed by her family the fear he was feeling until now had changed into sympathy for her.

"Don't worry you're very close to your destiny," Yoongi replied tightening his grip on his palm his eyes wandered the huge basement. Suddenly his gaze was stuck on a wall. Unlike other walls which were exposing the old bricks the plaster on that wall was perfectly fine. Yoongi put his hands on the wall closed his eyes. "What are you doing?" Jimin asked but received an intense silence in return he then looked at the wall as far as his eyes could see the wall seemed normal despite it being fresh and perfectly fine. But as Hoseok had explained earlier that Yoongi had psychic powers thus Jimin preferred to keep quiet and let him observe the wall.

Yoongi stepped back with a long gasped as soon as he opened his eyes. "What happened?" Jimin asked as he observed a shock on Yoongi's face.

"Don't you find it weird that this wall seems different from the others," Yoongi said while gazing at the wall.

"Yes, It is weird, But I've never noticed it before," Jimin replied.

"Yes, Because through your dreams Sunmi was trying to show you that wall but your mind was messing with that dreams," Yoongi replied. "And She wanted to show that wall to me because she was buried here" Jimin finally realized why Sunmi was trying to tell her through the dreams.

"But why didn't tell me directly? Why does she say she doesn't remember anything happened with her" Jimin asked. His mind was getting strangled in the question and he wasn't able to find the answer.

"The world you visit through your dreams was the other side of the world where the soul who couldn't find the peace stays and as like our world that side of the world have some conditions as well if she would tell you directly so the link between you both would be broken and she won't be able to contact with you again so she showed that walls through your dreams she hurt you so that you could then seek the help of someone who helps her to solve this riddle," Yoongi explained everything.

Jimin finally took a deep breath of satisfaction rashly embraced him with both hands. "You don't know what you've done for me," He said in a trembled voice.

As time was being passed the tension was rising. Every second was like a century for her. Walking in the room she was constantly checking Jimin as if its fine or not. "Chaerin-ah walking in the room won't change anything," Seokjin said tried to calm her down but his attempt had been failed as Chaerin wasn't going to sit until Jimin woke up.

"It's been an hour but he's still sleeping, What if she had done with him, What if they both won't wake up," Chaerin said flipping her back.

"How can you think so negatively?" Yoongi woke up she looked back at Jimin getting up on the bed he yawned. Chaerin ran towards him she checked his forehead then his neck. "Did she hurt you again?" She asked worriedly.

"No, I'm perfectly fine," Jimin replied hesitantly Chaerin couldn't stop herself from embracing him. "Thank God you're fine I was so afraid," She said.

"Anyway, guys I found out Sunmi's body I think solved this matter," Yoongi said and everyone got up in shock.

"Where is she?"

"Are you serious?"

"Will she stop haunting him in dreams?"

"Will she disappear forever?"

Yoongi was attacked with the questions. He explained everything to them and now all they had to do was to inform them about Sunmi's dead body to the police.

"But how we will tell the police what if they won't believe us," Taehyung said furrowed his eyebrows

"I have an idea," Chaerin said. "We will leak the information but without revealing our identity, When media will starts to talk about police have to search the basement at any cost," Chaerin said. Everyone was agreed with her as it was the only way of getting rid of Dong Hyun.

"I think I should leave now," Yoongi said. Took the bag from the table.

"Yoongi, Ssi I'm honestly grateful to you I don't what would we've done without you," Namjoon said as he was grateful for what Yoongi had done for them.

"I did nothing big, it was my duty, after all, that's why I've become a paranormalist," Yoongi replied.

"Jimin–ah remember what I had told you earlier and don't even dare to hurt yourself again," He said headed towards the door. Seokjin greeted him he didn't forget to thanks Yoongi for the very last time.
