"So girlie, what's cooking" I turned towards her and gave a confused look.

"Stop giving me that look, first you ignored him and now sitting with me. There is definitely something up" I nodded my head in no on her allegation.

"No Mrinal, it is not like that, if you think there is something fishy then I am going back to my desk" I started gathering my things.

"Stop it, I was pulling your leg" She pulled my hand and made me sit.

"Please, don't do this to me Mrinal" I literally begged to her to stop teasing me.

"Okay, so what's new in life" She inquired when our last class got over.

"I am going to get my first salary tomorrow" I beamed with joy.

"Yay, party time" she squealed in delight. I don't want to put off her excitement but I have to tell her.

"Mrinal, I have to give the money to Alex which I borrowed for Vibhu's treatment" I explained in sad tone.

"It's okay yar, but party to pakka hogi (there will be a party for sure). Now smile" I smiled in return and nodded in yes.

"Thank you dear for everything" I took her hand in mine to show my gratitude.

"You don't need to thank me Gauri. Whatever you did for me" I put my finger on her lips and signaled her to stop.

"Don't ever mention that day" She nodded in understanding.

"I am lucky that I found you Gauri. You have changed me into a good person" I fake rolled my eyes.

"You are always a great girl Mrinal. You spread happiness but never show your wounds. Don't I know that? You still have feelings for him. Isn't it?" She nodded in yes.

"I try very hard Gauri but I couldn't move away from my past." She croaked and I hugged her.

Fortunately, we were alone because all students have moved away after the last bell. We were waiting for Alex and Rahul. I couldn't leave Mrinal alone in class and she understood my fear.

"Mrinal, can I share something with you. It's bugging me since morning" She encouraged me with a mysterious smile. I knew that she would tease me later on but she won't tell my secrets to anyone.

I narrated the whole morning dream to her and she started laughing. We heard footsteps and she controlled her laughter.

"Hey beautiful, what are you doing here" My head shot up instantly with these lines I heard in my dream.

"Waiting for you, prince charming" Mrinal eyed me and chuckled.

"Why were you waiting, babe? I was just a call away" Alex was flirting with my best friend and I didn't like it a bit.

"I was waiting to see when will you become a prince from a frog" I bit inside of my cheeks to stop myself from laughing on her answer.

"So, did I become a prince or am still stuck in the process" he turned around and gives his full view to us.

"Keep on trying, one day, you will be successful for sure" she giggled.

"But how will you decide if I become a prince or not" he teased her.

Alex didn't know that Mrinal never showed mercy on guys who flirted with her because she is dynamite with words.

"Oh well, then you can strip here daily in front of us. We will note down your morphological transformations and then let you know when you are done" she replied in a serious tone like our biology teacher.

I and Rahul couldn't hold our laughter anymore so we laughed out loud. Alex has become red with embarrassment. I ran out of the class while laughing hysterically.
