Dark night

"Another thing Gawri, if I have taken advantage of you then you must be feeling the pain downward too." I whispered in her right ear and gave her lop sided grin and she was stunned with my bold answer.

"Are you feeling it?" I don't know why I get angry on her accusation. Her face becomes beet root red with embarrassment and she turned her face away from me.

"I want to go home" she mumbled after few minutes.

"I would advise you not to go home in this condition. Besides that, after we reach here it has started raining. I would suggest you to call your father and tell him that you are staying in the embassy till rain stops. What you say?" I advised her.

"You are right, can you call my father?" she requested.

She talked to her father and convinced him that she would reach home safely. He reluctantly agreed and put off the phone.

"You take rest, I am bringing you dinner." I move towards the door.

"Wait a minute, do you prefer veg or non veg?" I asked her.

"Veg would be fine. Thank you Alex"

I cooked some instant noodles and put a glass of milk in the tray. When I returned to my room, I found her sleeping peacefully on my bed. I didn't want to wake her up but she needed medication and she should have some food before that so I woke her up.

"Gawri, wake up" I whispered. She squirmed first then she stared at me.

"Dinner" I looked at her brown eyes. She tried to get up by using her left hand but she was more concern about her towel.

"You hold the towel and let me help you in getting up" I slightly chuckled at her effort.

"You find it funny" I nodded in no

"Roll to your left to lie on your back and then get up" she glared at me angrily.

"Don't worry Gawri, I am not going to eye rape you. I am just helping" I chuckled again on her attempt.

She agreed and roll towards her left. I put my hand behind her back to make her sit properly. I felt current ran down my body when my hand touched her bare shoulder and I was sure that she also felt it.

Her sweet honey like fragrance filled my mind and the back of her head touched my lips. I gripped her left arm gently to lift her sideways. My whole body tensed up with that little interaction and I suddenly felt an urge to relieve myself.

Many emotions were swirling inside me. I wanted to hold her for eternity and caress her silky skin. I wanted to envelop her with my warmth and protect her from every danger.

"Gawri, you eat. I am coming in a minute" I ran to my washroom. When I return back, I saw her struggling with the fork to eat the noodles with her left hand.

"Let me help you" I sat beside her and started feeding her. I was memorizing every detail of hers like movement of her lips, her tongue, her teeth and even her swallowing the food. She was avoiding my gaze.

"Staring is not a good habit" she complained without facing me.

"I cannot feed you without looking at you. Do you want these noodles end up on your hair rather than in your mouth" I mocked her and she blushed.

"Very impressive" she chided.

"Thank you my lady" I grinned.

When she finished the noodles, I brought up the glass to her lips.

"This is warm so be careful while drinking, okay" she nodded in yes.

I was very happy that she is doing everything without getting angry at me. She was avoiding my gaze when I was wiping her lips, my thumb brushed her lips and I have felt a sudden urge to claim those delicate petals. I controlled my emotions and gave her pain killers.

"Alex, who has changed my dress" she questioned again but politely.

"Sleep well beautiful and don't stress your mind by thinking who has undressed you. I assure you it was not me and I won't let any other guy do that job for you." I turn around to bring back the tray to the kitchen. I can't let any guy touch you Gawri because you are mine. ONLY MINE!

"Please Alex" she again requested.

"Okay, it was Victoria, my sister. She is a medical student and she has attended your injury so don't worry, I have taken care of your virtue properly" she blushed hard on my remark.

"I don't know how to thank you Alex. I am grateful to you"

"Alex, just do me another favour. Take me home, my father must be worried for me." She requested.

"Gawri, your clothes are torn and stained and I don't have any ladies dress here. If your father will find you in my clothes then even you have to blurt out the truth. I can't help in this situation as I don't have any idea what to do with your clothing. I will buy some clothes for you in the morning. Is that okay?" I tried to pacify her.

"You are right. Sorry I have put you in this trouble" she felt guilty. I felt that somebody has squeezed my heart after seeing her in this condition. I want to hold her face in my hand and comfort her but I couldn't do so.

"You take rest" I helped her in lying down and sat beside her till she dozed off.

I took my mobile and I texted Mreenaal that I need her help and she readily agreed. I told her everything and she said that she was coming to the embassy with some clothes. She arrived at my doorstep after half an hour.

"You look better but can you handle this at your home" I pointed to her shoulder and she nodded in yes. She came out all dressed up in a green Indian dress and looking fine. May be Mreenaal has used some makeup on her.

"Okay then let's go" I escorted them to the main gate where Mrinal's car was parked. Another car entered the premises and halted in front of us.

"Gauri, is it you?" Dad immediately came out.

"Dad, actually I and our friend Mrinal has thought to give a surprise party to Gawri on her successful start of her career and that's why she got late. Then, it started raining and they have to wait for so long. It was my idea that they should wait till rain stops. I am sorry dad." I stammered while talking to dad.

"Okay, Gauri, Hurry up. I will drop you. Come with me" he asked her to come with him.

"You don't worry Mr. Miller. I will drop her and convince her father about the whole situation." Mrinal interrupted and dad hesitatingly permitted them to leave.
