Good Samaritan

Fan MeiLi followed the girl and group of guys as they ran into a side alley. When she pulled up she saw that the red-haired girl was at a dead end, while the guys started to surround her. Looking through her glove box, she found her fun fireworks that her friend from Thailand gave her. They were actually self-defense light bombs, non-lethal but great for distractions. Fan MeiLi threw a few at the guys back and waited for them to look and see what hit them. Once they did she activated her little toys and watched the guys go down on their knees.

Fan MeiLi hoped that the red-haired girl would be far away that the light bombs wouldn't hurt her. Luckily the red-haired girl was short, so she used the distractions to break through the fallen guys. When she saw Fan MeiLi she started to slow down, "Get in! Hurry!" Fan MeiLi yelled opening the door. The red-girl hesitated but when she saw that some of the guys were getting back on their feet she jumped into the car.

Not wasting any time, as soon as the door closed, Fan MeiLi sped off leaving the guys running after her car. After thirty minutes of driving and making sure that no one was pursuing the girls, Fan MeiLi started to drive back into the city with lots of people around during this time of day.

The red-haired girl was quiet during the ride but when she noticed that Fan MeiLi was taking her back toward a crowded part of town, she glanced at her savior. "Why did you help me?" She asked in a small voice.

Taking a peek at the red-haired girl, Fan MeiLi could only smile, "At the moment, I'm just a good samaritan and today fate played a huge part on your rescue today. I never asked, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just a little shaken up from what happens earlier." "Who were those guys?" Fan MeiLi asked coming to a stop at a light.

"Just a few hired guys who wanted to take me back out of China." The red-haired girl said with tears forming in her eyes.

"Really! Do you want me to take you to the police? If these guys are trying to force you I'm sure the police can protect you." "No! Please, don't take me to the police!" The red-haired girl yelled in fear. Fan MeiLi gave the red-haired girl a confused and surprised look, which made the latter blush and look down in embarrassment.

"I didn't mean to yell but please don't take me to the police. The people who hired those guys have pawns in the police force, it would only be a matter of time before they captured me again." She said in a shaky voice.

Parking her car on a side street, Fan MeiLi turned and looked at the red-haired girl. "Could you tell me who you are and how I can help?" She asked. Looking shocked to hear such words, "You don't have to help me." The red-haired girl said.

"Trust me, fate wished for me to help you today. I don't make it a habit to not listen when my gut talks to me, so please just talk to me." Fan MeiLi said with a warm smile.

"My name is Kang Sena, and the people I was running away from was the Yu family." Kang Sena said in a small voice getting ready for this nice lady to throw her out on the road. She already knew how powerful the Yu family was and no person would risk their wrath for helping out a stranger."

"You're Kang Sena? Well, Miss Kang, today really is your lucky day because fate really did want me to help you." Fan MeiLi said starting her car and going toward her apartment. "Why?" Kang Sena asked in confusion.

Smiling, "I do believe you when you say the Yu family is chasing you and that they have many eyes. It's just that I know one Yu family member who really wants to meet you and have been searching for you high and low." Fan MeiLi stated.

Kang Sena was very surprised but still a little happy to hear Fan MeiLi's words. She knew the only one who cared for her in that horrible family was the love of her life. The only reason she broke away from the guards was that she regretted her actions all those years ago, and wished she could go back in time. Looking at the smiling Fan MeiLi, she started to feel a little joy and could only pray that Adam would forgive her mistakes.

Fan MeiLi started to feel better now that the pain in her gut was leaving her. It did make Fan MeiLi think more about her weird feelings she randomly received. Ever since she came back to China it's been acting up more and has been stronger when directing her toward people. Fan MeiLi tighten her grip on the wheel, she would have to figure out more on how she acquired this power but first, she needs to help Kang Sena. Fan MeiLi kept that determine emotions all the way to her home, all while thinking of how to tell Adam Yu that she found Kang Sena.
