Something Worth Fighting For
Edward Carson abruptly rose from his seat when he heard his son. "Are you trying to test my patience, Levi? Then that's a huge mistake!" As if he did not like the way he raised his voice, he shut his eyes, attempting to calm down.
A few seconds passed before the father opened his eyes again and said, "Go to your room. I will look for a new school abroad and get you transferred as soon as possible."
"I will not go abroad until I finish school."
"Levi!"
"This is not even a big issue, Father," Levi argued; sounding quite tired. "You know my real passion is not business but as your only son and child, I'm willing to put away my dream and follow the path you lay down for me. I will study business abroad once I finish school as planned and do my best to become a competent heir for you and Carson Group but... don't get involved in everything anymore. I said I'm fine; so, if you really have no other motives, let me manage this much myself."
