Good Father
"That boy... " Daniel Valos spoke up after more than a minute of silence. He paused as he noticed that his daughter understood and wasn't happy about what he was trying to say. However, he remained patient and explained, "What I'm trying to say is not what you think, Aviana."
"Then what is it?" Aviana Valos promptly asked, growing a bit more impatient than before.
Daniel Valos quietly stared at his daughter for a moment and then asked, "Do you have any idea of who he really is?"
This time, nothing could stop Aviana from raising a brow! Her father was able to dig that deep?
Nevertheless, she was confused. It wasn't something that could be easily exposed as the secret was sealed by the military authorities.
"How do you know that?" She asked, cautiously. "It's not something that would easily get discovered."
Aviana's words were enough for Daniel Valos to know that his daughter knew much deeper compared to what he knew.
