Chapter 3 (Fired)

"Yes" after their conversation, he exit the office. In his friends ward he wave the nurses off.

"Here l brought you a gift" He handed him beautifully wrapped box.

He opened it.

"Really! Wine"

"You are welcome" his face was a bit serious, Noonak asked "Are you okay?" his expression turn cold. Remembering what happened earlier. He told his friends about the incident.

"So you did rape him" Noonak said making fun of Tao. Noonak the 4rd richest among his 4 friends. His Dad Mr Kia, the president of Dhir corporations. Tawan's the 3rd of his friends. Their family known as the Li's owns an Estate houses known as National Trust Estates. Gene the 2nd is from an old money family. Ice also know as Hin rose to his position through hard work and dedication after his parents passing. The passing of his parents left him with a scar. He witness his own parents been killed right infront of him. He always has a cold and fierce look. He barely smiles, so his friends nicknamed him ice.

He owns companies, restaurants, clothing stores and the hospital Noonak was in.

Tawan said "he called him hin too" they laughed so hard, they almost cried. He looked them with Indifference and said

"You're about to get that smile wipe off your face" he grabbed Noonak by the arm which was wrapped in bandage. "Awww" he scream

Tao said "You should be laughing about this too"

"I will get you arrested for that" said Noonak. Held his arm in pain

"Hin did you rape him" Gene said playfully

"Say that again and l will cut your tongue off". They've known Tao for sometime. Even though he looks cold on the outside he sweet and kind on the inside. Tao said his good byes and left. To check up on his companies after his trip.

"Since you don't like the wine, l will keep it" Tawan said

Gene playfully said "Don't or he would get you arrested" he laughed

In the office Mhok was waiting anxiously for Tum to arrive. When he got in he dragged him into one of the restroom in a hurry. About what happened that night he beg him not to tell a soul.

"What happened that night was due to the influence of alcohol"

"Remember you begged me to sleep with you so l....." he didn't finish and felt a slap across his face. Tum was so angry he slam the door as he walked out. Mhok came out minutes after Tum. Just as he step outside his eyes met with Aranya, Anong's childhood friend. He didn't know how to react and walk pass her. Anong and Aranya have been friends since high school and the thought of it scared him.

In the office they couldn't keep and eye contact, and would act nervous around each other.

"Hi Tum have this'' Aranya gave him a coffee. Sorry about last time. I was too drunk to take care of you, wait how did you get home that night she asked. Tum shot a glance at Mhok before looking away. Aranya followed Tum's gaze to confirm her suspension. How do l tell Anong? She thought. Mhok felt uncomfortable seeing Aranya and Tum getting along.

After his first project was done he submitted it to Tamas office. He wasn't just doing nothing at home on his leave. He was hesitant, he stood in front of Tamas office for a while, he double check the files before heading in. He been working really hard on this new design and wanted to get it approved. A smile appeared his face once he step out of Tamas office. He went back to his desk and began working on his 2nd project right away.

Everyone was busy typing away on his computer and other working on other stuff. "Everyone the boss in here" Tamas assistant Perm said so everyone can hear her.

"When did he come back?"

"Why did he come unannounced".

"To inspect our work l guess" they mumbled to themselves. They patted their hair and others adjusting their clothes

"welcome back Sir". He greeted. Welcoming him in. There are some new faces due to the last incident. Walking him around showing him the new recruits. "We fired most of them and hired a new employees" Tamas the Manager said "l have sent some files over to your desk so you can have look at it when you are less busy" BLC (Beyond Luxury Company) was one of Toa company. He took a glance at the employees who were very welcoming. His eyes met with a familiar face. That person was none other than Tum. Tum wanted to lash out but this is his work place. Was it the boss they were talking about was him. No it can't be.

"Why is he here?"

"Is h-he the BOSS?" Then he remembered Pum's words. "THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO OFFEND" He wanted to make a hole and hide in it. Then secretly prayed he won't remember him. He took a few steps back and quickly snuck out unnoticed and hid under one of the desk. He approached him under the desk. He saw two pairs off shoes in right front of him

''GET OUT" with a commanding tone

He trembled with fear. He felt chills running down his spine He slowly came out. He was so scared his legs almost gave in. Tao was so angry just by looking at him. He felt like he was looking through him. This brat looking at him with indifferent. With an Icy tone he said

"Office now"

He broke out a code sweat. He thought he either talk his way out of it or apologizes. The expression on Tao face was cold. Everyone gathered was curiously looking at each other and whispering among themselves. "I've never seen the boss this angry" one of his college whispered. In Tao office, It's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. "He asked who paid you?. Which company paid you?"

He thought it might be his competitors. "l will pay double the amount they paid you he said if you tell me who hired you to make a fuse at my hospital"

"Your hospital?!" He mumbled

"N no one" He stammered

He waited for him to say something. He was so scared to even breathe loudly. He looked him in the eyes for a while to confirm what he heard before handing over the wallet to him. He checked in his car to see if there's something or anything there that could confirm his suspension but he saw his company card that's why he showed up. "I guess this belong to you". Placing the wallet on desk. Tum's hands tremble as he took the wallet. He few minutes later he got out of the office with a sad look on his face. He run to the bathroom and made a call. Tin and Tum are like brothers. Tin's Mom Praew a single mother passed away after birthing him. Tum's mom Kaew took him in and look after him she too sadly passed away due a sadden illness. They've been together since and are inseparatable. He sob whiles breaking down Tin immediately got into his car and drove to his office. His colleges gathered around him

"hey are you okay" one asked

"what did you do you to piss him off like that"

"you must have done something bad l guess to make him react like that" said another. He said "l went to hospital and l thought he look familiar to someone l knew so l held him by his collar," they open their mouth wide in disbelief. Boat asked "why didn't know, he was the owner of the Company, didn't you do your research" Mhok upon hearing this felt sorry for him. He had his own issues to deal with Aranya heard the conversation between them earlier. The thought of it frighten him. Tum parked up his stuff and just as he was about to leave Mhok offered to drop him off but he refused.

"You don't need to do that, My boyfriend is down waiting for me" He watched him get into a nice car and leave. He really had a boyfriend, so many thoughts run through his head after seeing Tum hug his boyfriend.  He had an idea and run to Tao office. The next day he woke up and checked his pajamas but there was nothing. He got up and got dressed and head out to Tin's coffee shop to help out and also ease the tension and stress. Tin works 2 job to raise money for his brothers illness. The coffee shop and the hospital as a Doctor.

"You're 53 minutes late go back home your fired"

He smiles "l got you a present that why I'm late, it's a c h e e s e cake" teasing him. Before he gave it to him.

"Let me help myself first, come get some". Tum shot him a look. "I sorry my brother doesn't eat sugar and spicy foods"

They talked for a while before returning home. The night was very dark and unpleasantly warm, from a far he could see a figure sitting at his door of his apartment when he got close he saw the figure, it was Mhok. He's lean his head against the wall and hugged his knees

"Hey hey" he called out get up "what are you doing here" he asked"

"Where have you been?, Why didn't you answer my calls" he looked through his pocket to check it out and saw his 27 missed call

"Oh sorry I was with a boyfriend so l put my phone on silent" his eyes shown a trace of jealousy

"ok so are you going to talk to me outside in the cold" he asked. He opened the door for him to get in.

"Why are you here"

"Tao want to see you tomorrow and for my clothes"

"Okay is there something you want to tell me or say?" Expecting more from Mhok an apologize or something

"No"He was fuming with rage. He quickly regain his composure.

"What! you came all the way here for that, you have my number you could have called"

"I did. If you answered l won't be here also the clothes was gift from someone special to me" Every word he alter make him want to slap him. He hurriedly bag it and handed it over to him.

"Here if there's nothing more you can leave" He wanted to say more but he interrupted before he could anything.

"If you didn't hear it the first time I will say it again leave". He picked up his jacket on the couch and left. He walked to his car thinking of a way to stay the night. An idea pop in his head. He locked his keys in his car and walk back to Tum's apartment. A few knocks was placed on the door. He quickly put on a pain expression, "l locked my keys in my car"

"Get a bus or call your girlfriend to bring you a spare key". He proceed to lock the door but, he pushed his way through. And let himself in I can't get a bus around this time, it's late. l will sleep in the couch and leave in the morning. He was reluctant to leave He lay down in the couch using his coat as a sheet to cover himself up. Tum snort and went to bed. He woke up the next morning.

"You're up good leave my house."

"I'm hungry no breakfast"

"Go eat at your place, hurry and leave or you want me to kick you out"

"I'm not leaving without you. Tao want to see you l will wait for you in car"

Anong's Friend was in the cafeteria getting coffee when he saw Tum and Mhok came together she frown, why did they come to work together she thought. Also wasn't he fired. Tum upon arriving headed straight Tao's office, Mhok gave him a wave he ignored him and went in. Have a seat gesture for him to sit. I checked your project and l liked it. The company is having hard time lately due to the previous projects been leaked. I wanted to hire a new employee but Mhok pleaded. He continued what happened was Mhok was was on the previous project we invested time and money into but somehow it was leaked. We doubt it's him cause he's been working with us for almost several years now. To avoid leaking of information you are going to start working from my office also, if you got raped, go find your rapist, one more thing my name is Tao not Hin. Okay sir he nodded. He picked up his phone and made a call, a few seconds Mhok walked in Okay so you are going to working with him WAIT WHAT shout Tum
