Jack closed his eyes and was attempting to understand what the heart beat was coming from. He put his hand on the other side of his chest and was lost. He had no clue what was going on so he decided to check his stats and skills.

Jack was bewildered by what his status looked like. It seemed as if he was level 4 or 5 just based off of his stats and the new innate ability also just made his mind go numb. He would not have to worry about his mana and he also basically could fight forever just like his soldiers. He then checked his level to see if anything had happened to it.

Jack had no idea why his level had risen and his class had changed. From what he knew there was no way to raise your level except by going to a god and increasing it, and as for his class he assumed it had something to do with his innate abilities. After Jack thought about things an idea popped into his head.

Jack 'What if I can level up myself.'

Jack had no idea what might cause this but it was a great addition to how he did things allowing him to not have to rely on a god that he did not even care about. Jack also wondered where the heart had come from but he had no inkling of a clue to where it did.

Jack then finished sorting out his thoughts and stood up. The stench of death permeated into everything's bones in the entire duchy. It made them all shake and they wanted to run. They had only felt something similar to this although that was much weaker than what they were feeling now.

The parasite queen was sitting on her throne looking at the stars but she felt scared of something recently. She had felt the hands of death reaching towards her. She did not know what had caused this but it caused her to remember a man she had once killed when she first arrived on the world. The man was a very kind person although she could feel he was strong, almost as strong as she was. One night she made up her mind to kill the man because she didn't want him to interfere with her plans.

That night as the Parasite Queen was about to kill the man as he was sleeping he opened his eyes and just stared at her.

The man said, "So you have made up your mind."

Parasite Queen "What?"

The Man "Then I will show you what you should fea."

Hundreds of thousands of creatures appeared behind the man. They all stared directly at the Parasite Queen and didn't move. The Parasite Queen was afraid, a feeling she had only ever felt once before. The shadows then disappeared and the man swung his arm to the side.

The Man "Although I could continue this useless life off mine I believe some other people will be able to shine if I left."

He then stepped into a whirlpool-like portal that he had summoned at his side.

That man gave off that exact same feeling as what she had just felt. It was so great that it seemed as if he could swallow everything in the entire world and he would feel no remorse from it.

She then sighed and called one of her commanders.

Parasite Queen "We will attack the humans, gather two other commanders and go."

The skeleton that wore a knight's armor bowed deeply then left to prepare for what was going to happen.

Jack finished clearing out all of the parasites and he also caught one of the higher ups, at least who he thought was one. He questioned them but they wouldn't answer andtorture did nothing so he just killed them with a sour taste in his mouth. He wanted to find out if the parasites had a connection to his kidnapper but it was not fruitful. He then called his shadows.

Jack "Gather all the humans and put them in a room that is a little less bloody so they do not get scared when they wake up."

After that Jack was going to leave when he saw a big metal box in the corner of one room. Jack walked towards it and tried to open the door but it was locked. He then just beat the door down with his new arm and he saw that it was actually a torture chamber. He saw a woman with pink hair strapped to an X shape made of boards. He cut her free and she tried to attack him but they did not hurt at all. She was very weak from what he assumed was all the torturing. He knew what she was going through so he just let her do her thing. She then stopped and looked at him with a question mark above her head. She remembered seeing this man before although the memory was a little hazy.

Jack said with a smile on his face "Rest a little everything is ok. Some people will come to get you in a few hours."

Teresa just nodded and soon she passed out. Jack simply picked her up and brought her over to the rest of the people. He also put his cloak over her as she was naked. Then he called his shadows back and left. All the people who were in the room and awake saw his back and they were glad that they were alive but also scared of what the man was capable of.

After Jack made it to the surface he felt a sudden urge to go in a certain direction. It was pulling him towards the center of the parasites territory. Jack knew that he shouldn't go into their territory as it could cause him some problems but this urge was very strong. He ignored and made up his mind that he would go after he got a little stronger. But when he began he felt another urge pulling him in another direction. Jack was confused but he soon felt his heart beating stronger. The beating hurt his ears and shook his entire being. Jack smacked his chest and the heart calmed down.

Jack "Fine, I understand now, relax."

Jack then rushed back to Haramark and got some supplies and a new cloak so that he would not run out of food. Although in the days time that it took to return the black heart was beating out of his chest since he was going in the opposite direction that it seeming wanted him to go.

He then began his journey that would take him to the ends of the world.
