A sword pierces through Yog's stomach, sprinkling blood yet remaining unfazed, unlike the shocked crowd.

"You." Yog gets ready to punch me with killer eyes, closing my eyes reflexively.

I expected a hard punch that would knock me off my socks. But I felt a hand tussle with my head.

I opened my eyes. This was the first time I saw Yog smiling since I met her.

"Seems like I was too cocky. It's your win. Be proud!" I did it! I did it! I landed a hit on Yog!

"Wait for your wounds!" Saying this, she pulled the sword out, and her stab wound faded.

Oh. This Goddess has a cheating skill. She can survive anything. What the hell?

"You deserve this, my Factor." Does she have a Factor?! I forgot that Gods and Goddesses do that.

Will that be a reward for others as well?

"Yes, now, let us see that body of yours so I can implement this in you." That can be worded so that it doesn't sound like I'm being touched sexually.

She touched me sexually. Looking at the crowd, I notice that Vijaya and my sister are jealous of Yog. And Ite is just flustered.

A glow can be seen as she rests her hand on my chest. "All right, let's begin this procedure." Suddenly, I feel immense magic transfer to my body and get a little ring in my ears.

"Martha is at your service." A narrator's AI voice?

"Now you should have an AI guide that helps you with analytical problems. Example: How to start the big bang again." That's… Useful!

Maybe Yog is better than Azathoth after all.

"I am. Anyway, you should rest tomorrow so you can fight real targets." Does she mean the invading demons?

"Test things and unleash yourself; bring Vijaya with you too. I'll keep fighting those two until they hit me." Ah, alright then.

I call out to Vijaya to come out to the surface after spending a year in a cave. We must prepare our eyes.

As we leave the cave, we see beams of light burn our eyes to medium intensity.

"MY EYES! MY EYES!" We both scream, covering our eyes to better our conditions.

"I detect a demon camp on the northern side." Martha can detect that too. Love it!

"Hey Vijaya, want to test our skills against some demons?" I ask Vijaya, playing around the floor.

"Okay, master!" Vijaya's aura is brighter than the sun. I think it could kill me.

I ask Martha to guide us to the camp as we look in awe at our surroundings. It's duller than we remembered.

All because of the war between humans and demons.

We arrive at the demon camp to find some humans imprisoned, and the camp is heavily guarded.

"Hey Vijaya, want to destroy this place with a single shot?" I ask, to which Vijaya responds happily by turning into her bow form.

It reminds me that I have barely used her since I was training. That sounded wrong.

"Alright! Ready?" I stood in an archer's stance, pulling the string, ready to fire.

"Ready!" Vijaya happily says, giggling afterward.

"Thundering Dart!" I release the string and fire an electrical arrow that forms harsh thunderstorms upon landing.

Vijaya turns into her human form, both of us watching in awe and pride at what we have done.

The camp is burned to toast, with many dead demon bodies lying around.

"Everyone is dead, no lifeforms are detected." Thanks, Martha. We're so pro.

"Ah, that was fun—"

"Life form detected behind you." By instinct, I kicked behind me to make sure I was safe. I kicked the person, and backed up with Vijaya, on guard.

The person I examine was Sara! I asked, "H-hey! Is that the way you treat old friends?"

"O-Oh I'm so sorry! I thought you were an enemy sneaking up on us!" I offer a hand to pick Sara up which she accepts.

Having been out for a year for being wanted, I wonder if she's here to take me. "How did you find me?" I ask, wondering if she will take me there.

"I was around the area you could say. I made newspapers now for everyone to read about the latest report of the Humans vs Demons war." That explains the protective suit she's wearing.

"What about the Guild? Did you quit?" I ask, sitting in a nearby tree to rest for a moment.

"Ah, I work part-time now. I wondered where you ended up, so I took this job. Now I have found you." This makes me wonder, why?

"I lived underground for a year. But why did you want to find me in the first place?" I ask skeptically.

"Perhaps to help you, I don't believe the kingdom should've outlawed and made you wanted for winning a prize that you worked for. It's stupid really." Out of every kingdom resident there, Sara seems to be the smartest for just being a part-time guild worker.

"I have to leave now! It's getting late. If you'd like, come by here tomorrow to hang out and I'll update you on the world." I bid her farewell as she smiles before heading off in a direction that I believe leads to the kingdom.

"We should also go back, the sun is setting now." I signal Vijaya and carry her. Heading back to the cave to rest for tomorrow.
