Prodigy in Action!

After breaking the gust of wind I launched, Yanma resumes his guard.

"Your magic is impressive for someone your age, but it still needs polishing. Not to mention, you have almost no technique with a sword in your hands." She says.

I know everything she's talking about. And that's exactly why I need her to train me!

When I least expect it, the captain advances towards me and launches a vertical blow from top to bottom. I just have time to dodge it by throwing my body to the left!

"Don't you know how to defend yourself?" She asks.

I don't have time to give empty answers!

I quickly get up while activating the air magic on my body to make it faster!

With this speed, I can jump and stand at a higher height than Yanma, preparing a blow from above!

Yanma positions himself to defend, but I'm not done!

I use Embedded Magic to make my arms faster and stronger with air magic!

The sword ends up surrounding itself with mana and magic, leaving it with a green aura around it!

The swords clash violently, and small splinters of wood fly into the air from the impact!

Falling to the ground, I cannot lessen the intensity of my attack.

"Is that all you ha- " Just as Yanma was about to say his words, I thrust my arms upwards with the air, delivering a blow from the bottom to the top on the left diagonal!

She only has time to move her face away from the tip of the sword, but even that doesn't make her avoid it completely!

The tip of your chin is cut off by the wooden tip of my sword!

I can't contain the subtle smile at the corner of my mouth.

However, she is quick to make decisions, damn it!

While my arm is still raised, she grabs it and turns the sword to attack me with the pommel!

She is very strong, I can't let go!!

"Gasp!" The pommel of his sword hits my stomach, making the pommel sink into my belly...

I can not breathe!!

Instinctively, I kneel on the ground and place my hands on my stomach, dropping the wooden sword.

"Arf...Arf." The air slowly begins to enter my body again.

"OOOH!" The surrounding knights are ecstatic.

"I'm not going to lie, you're actually very promising, I've never seen a kid your age do what you're doing." She says as she walks away. "I won't underestimate you anymore, if you want to be a great swordsman, then get up and face me. This time I won't take it easy." She holds the sword with both hands, with the tip pointing towards the sky.

I take the sword back and stand up. Breathing is still difficult, but I have to learn to be strong!

The position I take with the sword is the same as Yanma's. If I still don't know anything about swordsmanship, then I'll try to copy her!

We both face each other in silence; the focus and tension of the battle doesn't even let me notice my surroundings; all that matters now is this fight.

Yanma's sword drifts in the air with the almost non-existent movements of her hands, but suddenly, she rushes towards me, taking the sword back with both hands!

A side cut moves towards my neck, but I manage to avoid it by throwing my head back, letting the tip of the sword pass close to my neck!

However, when the sword completes its trajectory, it turns the blade back, making the same movement but now in the opposite direction!

This time I can defend myself and use the sword to withstand the impact, but not repel it!

She pushes her blade against mine, and I slowly lose strength. But, without me being able to counterattack, she pulls back her sword and tries to attack from the other side, raising her sword and trying to make a diagonal strike!

When I notice her hand raised to strike, I jump back, making Yanma's sword hit the ground!

She still advances, leaving the sword pointed downward, and delivers a blow from below. I only have the option to defend myself with the sword in an improvised way!

Yanma's sword meets mine, causing her to be thrown up along with my arms!

Damn, I have an open defense!

Yanma takes advantage of the fact that his sword is facing up and attacks from top to bottom, aiming for my chest.

The blade passes through my chest, causing my shirt to be torn in the area of the cut and my skin to be slightly scratched! 

She could have easily killed me with that blow, she said she won't take it easy, but still, she's easing up on the strength of the attacks!

If we were using real swords, and she attacked with full force, I would definitely have been dead a long time ago.
