The doppelganger system (1)

Olivia squinted her eyes and looked around, same as Emma, but she had a scared expression marred her own expression.

The two were standing on clouds, as if standing on a normal flooring.

The whole place was blinding white, but they looked fine standing there.

Emma was still putting on the same cute outfit she had on, before she collapsed. Her memories were fresh, without anything missing.

She's dead.

Her mom, sisters and Nemo. What will happen to them from now on? How can Sammy hurt her so openly, like she's nothing. To be honest, she knew that she was nothing but an ant in front of her.

And she was right, because Sammy had made a background check on Emma. It was weirdly concealed by Charlotte, but she had the right connection and learned that Emma is not different from being alone in this world.

Her two sisters just started school after growing so much. She was able to sponsor them to school after joining the entertainment industry, while her blind mother only had a black cat to keep her company and help her move around the house, till her children returned home.

That was why Sammy bodly did that. Her death will be covered up anyway.

Emma looked so scared because her family won't be able to survive without her. 

Olivia gritted her teeth and stared at Emma, who had started crying beside her. Weirdly, they can't move their feet.

If not for that, Olivia would have moved far from the girl that she believes was the enemies version of her, but they were wrong because she, Olivia Smith, will never look so broken like this girl that looks just like her.

"Grant peace to my ears girl." Olivia said and Emma toned down her whimpering.

The two were still putting on the same outfit. Emma looked pale, just like she did after the poison kicked in, while Olivia was looking as dashing as she looked, when she was in the banquet, with blood stain all over her gown and a bullet wound on her back.

"Hiya! Boohoo, I'm Darling."

"Hiya! Boohoo, I'm Honey."

"And together, we're the doppelganger system." Two cute bunnies appeared out of thin air and seemed very excited, as they twirl their bodies in front of Olivia and Emma, while introducing themselves.

Emma was scared to see bunnies talking, having tiny human hands and legs. 

"When you think you've seen enough and realized you haven't seen nada." That was Olivia's reply, while she wore a nonchalant look.

"Where are we? What's happening?" Emma was panicking now.

"Just shut up girl. If that would remain a mystery, we won't be standing in front of talking bunnies….. Helllooooo!" Olivia rolled her eyes, but glad that it seems Emma was just her doppelganger and not a weak version of her.

"I'm not talking to you. Didn't you find this weird? Aren't you curious?" Emma asked her, as she couldn't understand this girl that was covered in blood stain, looking all composed like this.

"If you aren't talking to me, then don't talk about me. Use 'I' instead of 'we' dummy." Olivia retorted, while the two bunnies kept looking at them.

They will focus their gaze on Emma when she's talking and do the same when it was Olivia's turn.

"Apologies for that. Excuse me guys, but how did I get here and how come you two can talk?" Emma asked Honey and Darling.

"Let the bunnies talk and stop asking questions." Olivia spoke again, making Emma feel frustrated. 

She wanted to talk, but the systems beat her to it. "Please don't call us bunnies. I'm Honey.

"And I'm Darling." 

Olivia chuckled mockingly. "What an ambiguous name. You two don't think I'm going to call bunnies, the name fitting for my future husband, if there's even anyone that will be worthy of Olivia." she said and folded her arms beneath her breast.

"Have you forgotten that you're dead?" Emma asked her, wondering if this girl didn't die, due to her mouth.

"If that's going to remain so, you think talking bunnies would be standing in front of us right now? Think with your brain and let the bunnies do their job." Olivia retorted again.

Hearing that it was possible to live again, Emma ignored Olivia and stared at Honey and Darling.

"You talk."

"No, you."

"Common, do it." 

"You, do It."

The two systems started arguing. 

"Great!" Olivia exclaimed, but a part of her wanted to see what this was all about. She just doesn't want to look eager. She's Olivia Smith, the woman everyone envied.

She couldn't believe that her uncle managed to kill her. After making her live in fear all her life, he managed to kill her in the end.

"Welcome to the doppelganger system. You two were the lucky ones. You were selected to live again and change your fates.

A second chance will be granted to you two, while you could choose to exchange lives or remain at the one that you're about to reincarnate in." Honey, who was standing in front of Emma, spoke up.

"What are the conditions?" Olivia asked with a straight face, making Emma, who was about to hype over the news, to shut her mouth.

That's true, it can't be so easy.
