"Bye Olivia." A woman in her late twenties, said in a weak tone.

She was laying down on a hospital bed, putting on a white and blue patient uniform. Her hair has been cut short and face looking so white, like a ghost character in movies.

Her lips pale and eyes could barely open properly. She looked very sick and Olivia pitied her state.

The woman was Harry's wife. She has been suffering from lung cancer three years after giving birth to Alicia.

Her condition only worsened by each day before getting so critical that she had to remain at the hospital, while her family were told to prepare for the worse.

Harry was sitting beside her bed, while Alicia had been taken out by Olivia's parents.

They scold the couple for making Alicia stay at the hospital, because Harry refused to leave the side of his wife. 

After Alicia returned from school and Harry from work, the two would come to the hospital and get their clothes delivered.

They don't have any issues, because the hospital was one of president Smith's properties.

Smith and Laura asked Olivia to come with them, while they took Alicia out to have some fun, that was appropriate for a girl of her age, to not fall in an isolated world, when growing up.

They don't want her memories to be about visiting the hospital and watching her sick mother, which would surely be on her mind at school.

Olivia couldn't bear to leave her aunt. She was just seven years old then. She said that they should leave without her and helped the nurses in taking care of her, that day.

It was very late, when Olivia's parents called to inform them that Alicia fell asleep, and would be taken to their house. Olivia's guard was asked to drive her home.

Their intention was to let Alicia have a break from the hospital roof that day.

Olivia stares at the woman with reluctance in her eyes. She looked so pitiful, that it made tears welled up in her eyes, for the 10th time in a day.

"I will visit you again, aunty." 7 year old Olivia said in a sweet tender voice and her deep black eyes looking the most innocent in the world.

"I would be waiting for your visit, dear." Alicia's mom replied, while Olivia's bodyguard bowed his head in respect.

"Bye uncle." Olivia added, before walking away from the ward.

Hearing her footsteps fade, the tenderness in the woman's eyes vanished. Her mouth got into a pout and eyes laced with wariness.

Harry let out a soft sigh. His wife hates setting her eyes on Olivia. She would have felt at ease, if not from her condition.

She felt like her daughter would be looked down upon, by this little girl that still has both parents and happened to be a heiress to everything she and her husband had thought they would own one day.

They knew Laura and Smith's story. They've been dating since high school and Smith accidentally impregnated Laura.

Smith wasn't ready and Laura knew her family would disown her. With that fear, of getting mocked and many more, they went for an abortion.

Smith was still young, but had been making use of the Internet to start a business and it was going successful. It was one of the reasons that he felt that he wasn't ready yet.

He doesn't want to be tied down, yet. He wanted to explore the world, dream big and become super rich. Then, they can have their own children, but…. not now.

They were rejected by two different hospitals, but they didn't give up. Due to the fear of mistakenly getting Laura's parents involved, they chose the secretive side.

A young nurse helped perform the abortion in her clinic, which nearly claimed Laura's life.

Smith went pale, at the sight of blood from his girlfriend, while he felt as if his soul had left his body, when he saw the confusion on the nurse's expression.

The nurse looked like she had no idea what went wrong and didn't have a solution to it.

Smith called the ambulance immediately. At that rate, he doesn't care who knows. He wants his girlfriend to be safe.

The woman, that would one day be the mother of his kids and be the only love of his life.

If she gets hurt, he would never forgive himself. Never!

Laura was taken to a big hospital and rushed into the emergency unit. She lost so much blood, while Smith wasn't there by her side.

Laura's parents got him arrested immediately that they were informed. They vow to kill him, if their daughter gets hurt.

He cried his heart out. He banged the iron bar continuously with his fist. He begged that he wouldn't run away. He just wanted to be by her side.

They can arrest him later.
