Make my fondest dream a reality and marry me

"So since it's your birthday today I wanted to take you out to dinner. Can you come to this restaurant." Josh said as he passed me the card for a restaurant nearby.

"OK no problem I'll be there." I smiled as I placed the card in my clutch while getting up from the chair.

As I walked towards the sink with both of our empty plates I felt Josh's hands on my butt and as soon as I put the plates in the sink he hugged my waist before pulling me towards his chest. I sighed contently as I felt Josh's bulge on my fleshy ass. He felt my body up to his heart's desire and I let him because I also enjoyed his touch.

"I love you Ana, more than I will ever be able to express in words but I really love you." Josh whispered into my ear.

I was about to reply Josh shushed me.

"Don't talk my love, let me speak." Josh said once again and I just leaned into his sturdy chest.

Josh went on to spill his heart out for me before turning me around and kissing my forehead.

"Have a wonderful day my queen." Josh said to me as he kissed my forehead.

I smiled and hummed in agreement before we said our goodbyes so we could go to our individual work places. Josh left and got in his Mercedes Benz G wagon that he had recently bought while I got into the pink lamboguine he bought for me last year. I drove to the Oracle building and got inside after parking my car.

I decided not to wear the coat since it was now warm and would be so for the rest of the day. I got to my desk and started working while having the goal of finishing the last task for the week. I could have finished it early yesterday if not for attending Clive's football game.

After my talk with Natasha she started asking to visit more which made Josh happy and let her visit as much as she wanted. Clive soon followed suit after two or so months because he also wanted a good relationship with his father. Now they usually go for camping, fishing and having some father son bonding time.

I focused back on my work which was a simple design for a program to identify virus levels, what the virus was targeting and to send this information to a program Zane had just finished coding a few days back. It would be slightly slower than most security measures if the virus was not a big deal but lightning fast when it was a huge threat to the health of the computer. It was a very complex design which is why we were working as a team of 4 people.

I was handling the detection and information relay part of the program, Zane was dealing with the virus fighting part of the program, Diana was doing the quarantine part of the program and Priyanka dealt with the part of the programme that strengthened the entire programme after fighting off a virus. The whole programme had been designed by the four of us with Mr Wilson over seeing everything over the course of two months.

I soon finished my task and double checked it to make sure I did not make a mistake before sending it out to Priyanka who was the project leader for this project. After sending it out I leaned back into my chair and put my hands up to stretch since I had been sitting here the whole day. I texted Josh a couple of times as he told me he was getting off work now he'd meet me at the restaurant.

I smiled and packed up my things into my bag before saying goodbye to everyone. I walked towards the elevator and got on before it took me to the ground floor where I then got into my car. I slowly drove towards the restaurant while listening to some music as I smiled like I did at random times especially when I was alone due to how much I really appreciate being alive as I am.

Before I passed on in my last life I was pretty much dead inside, I held a fear of trying to move on with my life, a fear of trying new things because I went for an entire decade just trying different things, being positive and everything else only to continuously fail. The only good thing that came from all of that was that when I finally found myself as Anastasia I had enough knowledge, wisdom and experience to avoid certain situations while maximising on certain ones. I had used my knowledge of the future and invested 75% of my income into companies that would be big pretty soon.

I finally arrived the restaurant and parked my car before making my way towards the restaurant entrance.

"Hi, my name is Anastasia Snegov. I have a table with Josh Stanzione." I said to the receptionist who looked through her list before replying.

"Oh, Mr Stanzione booked the whole restaurant so let me lead you to your sitting area." The receptionist said with a smile and I nodded.

We walked into the restaurant before she told me to just follow the roses on the floor. I soon started walking towards the end of the roses as some slow music played in the background, the lights were mostly off save for some red ones which coupled with the music and the roses as well as the lingering scent of the roses made a very romantic atmosphere. I smiled to myself as I walked while following the path layed out by the roses.

Slowly I made my way to a table which had Josh waiting next to it with a pair of black formal pants, a pair of shiny formal shoes and a white formal shirt that he had tucked in but the top two buttons were undone. He smiled towards me as I got close to him before kissing my cheek.

"Happy birthday my darling." Josh whispered into my ear as he hugged me close to him.

I smiled as I breathed in his intoxicating scent. We soon sat down and began eating as the chef brought all my favourite foods until one more plate came with nothing but a small black box which as soon as I saw it I gasped. I looked at Josh who now knelt next to me on one knee as he opened the black box showing a beautiful engagement ring.

Josh smiled at my reaction before taking a deep breath as an orchestra played in the background.

"You healed pieces of me I didn't know needed healing. You cared for me when I didn't know I could use that extra love. You brought out the happiness in me I didn't know existed. You've made me feel more alive than ever." Josh said as he looked up towards me since I had stood up while crying as he smiled while tears fell down his face too.

These were happy tears, I loved this man more than I loved anyone or anything else and becoming his as he became mine just made me so happy.

"I have had many dreams but the greatest one remains to make you my husband. Make my fondest dream a reality and marry me?" Josh asked as he looked into my eyes with his gorgeous baby blue eyes.

I smiled and nodded.

"Yes! I've wanted to say that to you for so long." I said as I smiled while drawing my left hand closer to him.

Josh smiled brightly before taking out the beautiful diamond ring that he the slipped onto my fourth finger on my left hand. He then got up and picked me up as he laughed happily while twirling me around in the air. We were pretty happy to finally be married and after hugging, kissing and whispering sweet nothings to each other Josh put me down before whispering into my ear.

"That wasn't the birthday present I had for you. For that we have to go back home. I'll have someone bring your car home OK my love?" Josh whispered into my ear.

I was all smiles as I nodded.

"Yes dear fiancé." I smiled as the title just rolled off my tongue.

Josh smiled before saying we should get going so he could give me my actual birthday present.
