"KILL… AUTHONOIDS!!!"

A towering android loomed over us, its massive greatsword slicing through the air towards us, poised to strike from above with a menacing swoop.

We managed to dodge his greatsword's slash just in time, as it smashed the ground with an enormous thud, sending debris flying in every direction. Witnessing Taken-Ki suddenly find us in an impossible-to-find area perplexed us.

Taken-Ki flexed his steely muscles and let out a threatening, deep, robotic growl as he raised his greatsword in our direction.

"You… Authonoids… killed… my master!"

The tension was palpable as Joshua drew his dual pistols and queried.

"How could he find us in this place?"

As I examined Taken-Ki's state, I quickly assessed his towering figure and observed the intricate details of his metallic armor.

"Hell, how do I know? Maybe the Scorching Virus was so sentient that it could tell him where we're going."

Joshua gave a silent nod and uttered his soft but serious response.

"Maybe you get the point."

Taken-Ki stomped twice, each time with a tremor so powerful that it shook the ground. He menacingly intimidated us by swinging his greatsword at us.

"YOU… AUTHONOIDS… MUST… DIEEEEEE!!!!"

Just as we were hard on our stances and ready to rock the stage, the sound of his greatsword scraping the ground echoed through the air as he unleashed massive shockwave slashes. As we scattered quickly to avoid it, the howling wind whipped past us, carrying the scent of impending danger.

It instead caused massive destruction to the nearby objects from behind, as I saw the shattered remains of the incubators firsthand.

Taken-Ki rapidly stamped his feet, making a deafening noise that shook the ground. He let out a shout as the greatsword swung through the air.

Our hearts were pounding as we dove, side-rolled to avoid his onslaught, and returned with our gunfire. But it infuriated Taken-Ki even more; his greatsword is coming in from the right, and I had to parry it hard enough with my Nakajima.

But I accidentally let my guard down on my right side, giving him a great opportunity to slice my waist with his brute force, all the while roaring.

"TOO SLOW!!!"

Fortunately, I dodged it in record time, and his greatsword slammed down on the ground with such force that it created a crater.

Nevertheless, Joshua rushed to my help, his dual pistols blazing against Taken-Ki. And yet, Taken-Ki's fury was palpable as he snarled with seething hatred, each word dripping with venom with every shot fired.

"YOUR WEAPONS... ARE USELESS... AGAINST... ME!!!"

My irritation grew as I felt the wrath of his blows and realized that all we could do was continuously dodge them. We were continuously on edge, as if we were playing a game of cat-and-mouse.

So I retreated while berating Taken-Ki and plotting the most effective strategy before destroying him.

"Fuck it! I've had enough with your bullshit, stupid rusty steel!"

Taken-Ki was seething like all 7th hell after hearing my insult that he pounded his heavy steely foot and the ground vibrated from the force.

"HOW… DARE YOU… CALL ME… STUPID?!"

I continued to insult him by giving him the downward middle finger on my left hand.

"And by the way, your master sucks dick!"

I suddenly felt the surrounding air charged with Taken-Ki's wrath as his face filled with hatred, prepared for another charge attack. Despite the stupidity of my actions and their potential to plunge us into a greater hellhole, a thought occurred to me, prompting me to request Joshua.

"We're going to do an evasive move together."

Joshua and I both stood in quiet, ready to evade whatever was coming, with just his small nods of agreement.

Taken-Ki charged at us, his feet beating against the earth as the ground quivered with his speed. Keeping my cool under pressure required me to patiently look for the best opportunity to escape.

"On, 3…"

"1…"

I then shouted to Joshua at 0.72 seconds, feeling Taken-Ki's proximity as he closed the gap between us.

As I could sense Taken-Ki drawing closer at 0.72 seconds, I yelled to Joshua.

"NOW!!!"

Our reactions were so quick that we evaded Taken-Ki's charge at the same time. This caused him to crash against the wall behind us, smashing his own head. There was a buzz of excitement as we prepared ourselves to fire.

"GO FOR IT!!!"

After giving me the nod, Joshua rained bullets down on Taken-Ki, who was clearly stunned in the process.

I charged forward and thrust my Nakajima into his back, letting my scorch arc pierce his steely spine.

Hearing Taken-Ki cry out in agony, I revved my Nakajima to scorch down his inner frame.

BRAAAAP BRAAAAAP BRAAAAP

He felt a twinge of pain, yet his desperation drove him to make the switchback. He stood up, gripping the hilt of his greatsword tightly, and brought it around him in a powerful arc.

"YOU… CAN'T… KILL MEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

I did a stylish backflip to avoid his strike, removed my blade from his chest, and stabbed his metal frame with my left hand's claw gauntlet at the same time.

When my weapons collided with his greatsword, a spark rapidly illuminated the blackened laboratory. He growled as his crimson eyes pierced directly into my soul.

"AUTHONOIDS!!! YOU… MUST… DIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

His threats were hollow, as I detected a trace of weariness in his gaze. So I smirked and gazed back, slowly advancing my sword.

"Not today!"

I cranked up my Nakajima's engine as high as it could to heat the blade, then pushed his greatsword and pulled the clutch to let the flame scorch my blade.

And all of a sudden...

With brute force, I broke his greatsword into the void. It surprised Taken-Ki since he hadn't anticipated that a person so much smaller than himself could be so powerful. I immediately switched my Nakajima to its axe mode and swung it with all my power.

JSHICK

He screamed in agony as I stabbed him in the chest. Blood splattered into the ground as I revved my Nakajima's throttle to damage his inner frame any further.

BRAAP BRAAP BRAAP

In a hurry, I then drew my Kiryu, aiming it at his head. I felt the pulsing wave on my palm as I squeezed the trigger long enough to offer the bulky infected android a hellish death from my incoming charge shot.

"Die!"

BANG

I let the bullet pierce his skull as Taken-Ki yelled in agony, where blood spurted from his steely forehead. He then fell to the ground with a resounding thud after I ended his life.

Once everything was in order, I swiftly removed my Nakajima from his chest and transformed it back into normal sword mode, feeling a mix of relief and lingering adrenaline from the encounter.

It's been 7 minutes since we slayed that bulky, infected android. But despite his thick, steely armor, our efforts were more than enough to breach his armor and inflict wounds on his inner frame.

I then approached Taken-Ki with caution and suddenly heard a slight rasping as he slowly lifted his head to gaze at me and utter his final inquiry.

"Who… are… you?"

Even though Taken-Ki was the most feared supreme-type infected android, he trembled in terror at the sight of my eyes. Which he croaked in fear.

"No… it… can't be…"

I stepped on his steely chest, pointed my Kiryu at his forehead, and gazed down at him with fearful contempt.

"It's alright..."

"I'll look after your master."

"In the hell."

The grip's pulsing wave engulfed my right hand when I pulled my Kiryu's trigger long enough. When I was ready, I let go of the trigger and witnessed him disappear into the realm of hyperdeath.

BANG

And finally, Taken-Ki died for good. As my charge bullet obliterated his head into pieces, blood splattered the nearby wall, and it seeped above the rustic, steely floor.

Having a fierce orgasm after brutally killing this supreme-type infected android was quite rewarding. Killing infected enemies was the perfect anti-depressant for me.

After everything was wrapped up, Joshua approached my back and teased me, remarking on my ruthless takedown of the dying, infected android with a playful grin.

"It seems like you've violated Article 87."

In return, I offered him a quick, jovial chuckle. But when I had my eyes fixed on Taken-Ki's corpse, I received an unexpected call.

"I got a call from Axel all of a sudden."

After I responded to the call with a brief beep, I posed a question.

"What's wrong?"

Axel's comms voice buzzed incessantly as he replied, revealing his anxiousness.

"LEADER! bzzzt WE'RE IN A HUGE TROUBLE! bzzt bzzt bzzt KOTARO IS- bzzt bzzt"

Because his current state made me nervous from his buzzes, I inquired again.

"Axel?! AXEL?! DO YOU READ ME?!"

Scott's voice echoed through Axel's communications, and his yell had a distinctive buzzing tone.

"TSUYUKI! bzzt bzzt KOTARO bzzzzt IS bzzzzt bzzzzt STILL ALIVE! bzzzzt bzzzzzzzzt WATCH OUT!!!"

"AXEL?! SCOTT?!"

"FUCK!!!"

I threw up my hands in frustration after the communication channel suddenly went offline. I could feel the stress coming off Joshua as he approached closer and questioned me with worry.

"What's wrong?!"

In a moment of exasperation, I looked back and quickly explained, with a slight panic.

"Axel and Scott need help! It seems like Kotaro doesn't want to give up like Taken-Ki did!"

A sharp beep came across Joshua's communication link, and he had to answer the call to respond.

"Wait, I got a call from Veronica!"

"This is Joshua! State your current condition!"

But through his communications headset, I could once again hear the same buzzing voice, just as I'd experienced previously.

"Veronica?! Christine?! Can you read me?!"

The unexpected static cut off Joshua's transmission, leaving him panicked and rushing to tell me.

"They're in danger! We have to help them quick!"

Amid the chaos and confusion, I managed to get out my strategy in a flurry.

"Joshua, I'll help Veronica and Christine! While you go, help Axel and Scott!"

Without thinking, we ran toward the distinct path that would rescue our companions on the topside, trying to protect them from the rampage of revived, infected androids.
