Chapter Two Hundred Thirty Six

Theo's steps stopped when he recognized two cars parked in front of his school gate. Heck, two cars that looked so luxurious they caught the attention of all the students. He took a deep breath. He glanced at Carlo and June. They actually intended to go home together because he wanted to stop by the mall, but he couldn't seem to do it. Jacob himself had gone home first, reasoning that he wanted to prepare a lunch menu for him.

"Why?" June asked.

Theo shook his head. "Looks like we can't go to the mall together," he said.

Carlo frowned. He then followed Theo's gaze and understood the boy's words. He glanced at June and shrugged. "We can go another time."

"Sorry, guys."

June smiled. "No problem, Theo. See you tomorrow?"
