Chapter One Hundred Forty Eight

Blaze took a deep breath. He was looking at Siegfried's back, who was making seaweed soup for him. The man said that today is his birthday, so he wants to make a good lunch. But it made him feel uncomfortable with his attitude towards him. Moreover, before meeting with Siegfried, he met with Elena.

"Why don't you allow me to help prepare the food?" said Blaze, who was sitting on a stool.

Siegfried turned his head slightly and smiled. "It's your birthday. You've helped to buy groceries, so it's my turn to cook. Besides, I don't know your cooking skills, Blaze. So, I don't want to take the risk."

Blaze snorted at the man's words. Even though he couldn't cook, how could he possibly make his food poisonous? He is too much. They don't even know each other's traits and attitudes. All he knows about the man—or vice versa—is what is visible from the outside.
