“The night is already late. I was worried about you, so I went out to find you and bring you home.” Jin released her slightly, his calm and composed gaze fixed on her. Then, he glanced towards Huli, who wore an ambiguous smile on his face not far away.
Jin frowned and retracted his gaze, asking, “...Why are you here?”
There was a hint of unconcealed concern in his steady and magnetic voice.
“She said she wanted to learn medical skills, so I brought her here. You wouldn't be angry, right?” Huli preempted An Yao in answering.
His gaze shifted between the two back and forth. His beautiful peach blossom eyes narrowed slightly, and he directed his words towards Jin,
“What's your relationship? Partners? Doesn't look like it. Seems more like siblings?”
“That's our business. You don't need to butt in,” Jin replied coldly, disregarding any courtesy.
