A God Descends

Hanzo had never been so confident in his lifetime. As a true God of Shinobi he would usher in a new era that would bring true peace to the five nations. People would not starve, they would not fear, he would bring them prosperity like never before. To achieve his ambitions he would do what was necessary. Starting with eliminating the troublesome elements known as the Five countries hidden villages. The most heinous of which was Konoha to the south. From the reports gathered by his men these heinous villains murdered, raped, and pillaged even common civilians. Such was their evil in his lands that even children with no direction to himself wore his headband proudly and shed blood trying to repel these villains. His new era had no place for such atrocious beings.

With this in mind Hanzo led his troops south and laid in ambush for Konoha who so arrogantly waltzed through Ame as if it was their own land. Intelligence suggested Konoha troops were heading north to press their attack on Iwa and remove some of the pressure their Kiri allies were receiving. With Iwa going after Kiri so heavily it was time to put their so called alliance to use and Konoha was deploying three hundred chunin as assistance. If it was a mere three hundred chunin it could never really be called assistance, Hanzo deployed his scouts immediately. Low and behold alongside the three hundred chunin the so called God of Shinobi deployed his three disciples.

The so called God of Shinobi should be eliminated as soon possible Hanzo would not allow this false God to exist along side himself and lead others astray. The sins of Konoha aside disposing of this troop would allow Hanzo to draw out this pretender and rid the world of him. That said Hanzo was still apprehensive of Konoha hence the ambush instead of direct conflict. The Uzumaki Clan's Mask Storage Temple was not an easily forgotten fear for a new god like Hanzo. The Uzumaki sealed a Shinigami, there's no guarantee the same would not happen to Hanzo himself.

While most of the Uzumaki no longer existed and their techniques would be forever lost, one Uzumaki was still very prominent. Tsunade of Konoha maybe more well known for the Senju name but an Uzumaki is still an Uzumaki. The fearsome woman was well known after her fight with the hag known as Chiyo who made an antidote for his Salamanders poison. An antidote that would no longer work but meeting Chiyo's equal would be troublesome nonetheless. This would be his greatest obstacle in the oncoming fight.

The second problem would be the annoying prodigy known as Orochimaru. The young man had made great achievements in this war. Often leading his divisions with uncanny precision and troublesome effectiveness the young prodigy had gathered great renown for his tactical ability. If that was not enough his own personal strength was nothing to scoff at and his tactics were often ruthless not only to his enemies but his own troops. If the intelligence gathered was correct capturing anyone within his ranks would often lead to a very powerful explosion and a battlefield filled with body parts.

The least troublesome would be Jiraiya the so called great toad sage of Mount Myoboku. Setting the self made grand tittle aside the only decent skill of the lad was his summoning technique and a few A class ninjutsu. Compared to his former squad mates this one was undoubtedly the weakest of the lot and the most likely to die first. In Hanzo's mind he would save the day dreaming fool for last.

If only plans truly followed the script as planned. While Hanzo was mapping out his glorious rise to the top and even celebrating his upcoming victory he ironically failed to notice his surroundings once more. The men he so carefully positioned for his ambush were being silently eliminated at a speed that would put most Jonin to shame. Hanzo's men would rise a few inches into the air and almost simultaneously begin to release a downpour of blood from their throats. Of the five hundred subordinates accompanying Hanzo on this mission sixty of them had been slowly eliminated. As the count of the Ame casualties climbed to two hundred Hanzo finally noticed something wrong.

Hanzo's blood began to trickle down his neck, before a large amount could be spilled his wound had already healed. At this moment though he noticed an extremely faint presence moving away from his body. As he turned to gaze in the direction of the unknown presence he was greeted with absolutely nothing in sight. That said he was able to see how one of his lieutenants was killed swiftly with out a sound less than a minute after the would be assassin had slashed Hanzo's own throat. The anger he felt at this sight boiled over and he immediately released his poison breath without a single care.

At this point it was clear in Hanzo's mind that he was dealing with the fearsome bastards of Kiri. Kiri's assassination techniques were without equal and Hanzo had not known of such prowess from any other village. It didn't matter however as the foolish mortal before him would now meet an agonizing death. Hanzo liked to acquire the names of the strong but an assassins' would get no such honor from him.

The would be assassin quickly noticed the irregularity in the air around him and immediately turned to face the source of the strange scent in the air. This assassin was the creator of the most impressive spying ninjutsu known to only a select few. Yes the man known as the Great Sage of Mount Myoboku had arrived!

As Jiraiya turned to face the unknown attacker. He received one of the greater shocks of his life. The idiotic ninja who was standing out of position compared to the other would be ambushers had somehow survived the cut on his neck. Jiraiya knew it could never be his mistake as a great ninja such as himself would not commit such a rookie mistake like the idiot in front of him. Immediately he attributed the unsuccessful assassination attempt to some form of kekkei genkai or unique ninjutsu looking at the strange man in front of him however he decided on the most likely option..

" Idiots somehow have the worlds greatest luck..."

Oops he had said that out loud.

Hearing the mans words Hanzo had no desire to drag things out with this idiotic assassin. As Jiraya was seeing the man in front of him stupidly stand around he rushed forward to land a second attack and kill the lucky bastard. Which is why the impact that could suddenly be felt on his left cheek came as quite a shock. As he tumbled through the ground like a ragdoll the only thing Jiraiya could think about is that rookies these days were really fearsome his student Minato was an absurd genius, Ren needed no mention, Tsunade has always been a medical monster, and now this ass hole had popped out of nowhere. His entire life he believed Orochimaru was the most talented young ninja but these days he's starting to wonder if he's just nowhere near the same starting line as every one else.

Standing up and looking at this ass hole who was sending a signal flare into the air he really felt like shit. This rookie didn't even make sure he had a confirmed kill before firing the signal flare and removing his line of sight from himself. Well this ass hole would learn a valuable lesson before his death.

Running forward in a sprint Jiraiya quickly appeared behind the arrogant rookie asshole. Now that the signal flare was up the battlefield would descend into a free for all. So he had to give his own side a boost in morale and reminder the enemy had spotted them. Pulling forward his arm behind him he thought he should also let the little rookie know how he died this time. Which is why at the top of his lungs he screamed:

"RASENGAN!!!"
