"Yeah, tho he said this Hidan guy actually let him see his daughter, but that's probably a Genjutsu"

Kakashi nodded in acknowledgement, it was the closest possible scenario. It was highly unlikely that someone could revive another, it was unheard of.

"Kakashi-Sensei, I think we should go back… our mission is already complete. We ended the kidnapping, so we should be safe to return"

"Yes Naruto, our task here is done… now, if we all agree, we can go back"

"B-But what about the kidnapped girls!"

Naruto glared at Sakura for her stupid question. She was getting tortured all day weren't she?

"The mission never mentioned anything about rescuing, so our job here is done. Right, Sasuke?"

Naruto's glare cooled down as he gazed at Sasuke, who just nodded. The mission is set and done, the missing girls didn't really matter to him much.

"Alright then, let's go… and Sasuke, get yourself washed up"

"Sigh… you guys go ahead then, I'll catch up. It's only like 1 hour from here anyways"

"No, we can't do that. The whole team should be present while entering Konoha, or we'll have to go through several other procedures to enter"

Sasuke grumbled. He found a pond near Ryo town and dipped himself in there. Kakashi brought some clothes for him from town.

"It sure does feel good to wear baggy clothes"

Sasuke wore a teal colored T-shirt with black pants, the size was a bit too big for him.

"That's the closest I got for your age"

Sasuke shrugged it off, not really bothered by the size. After talking it out with the head, and seeing her in tears as they departed, the journey continued.

"Sasuke-Kun… shouldn't we save the girls? Why did you say that all of them were dead?"

"Sakura, how did you pass the graduation exam again?"

"What?"

Naruto deadpanned. Kakashi palmed his forehead. The girl only grew more confused.

What was happening?

"Look. Point number one: They were able to kidnap more than 30 girls from a single village, adding to how many others they kidnapped, it could be well over thousands.

Point number two: Managing those numbers require a huge amount of manpower, or power by itself. If the guy had that much power to suppress thousands under a Genjutsu, that alone speaks volumes of his power. Point number three: If he has that much man power, imagine if he's not powerful, that means he's bloody rich and has several skilled Ninja guards by his side, he could throw cash and assign countless rogue nins for him, meaning us three can't do shit against such an amount of manpower, we would run out of stamina and be killed, or someone unexpected with some out-of-the-world keke-genkai would kill us... My point: The risks are too much, get it?"

Sakura gulped as she took in the information. She had thought Kakashi would be able to handle everything and it would be a happy ending.

"Nice observation, Sasuke. Let's pick up the pace"

Sasuke and the others nodded at Kakashi's words. They increased their speed. Kakashi had already known about Hidan, he was going to discuss it with the Hokage.

Team 7 arrived at Konoha, Sakura quickly headed off to her house, she wasn't in the best condition.

Kakashi also said he had to report about the mission, leaving Naruto and Sasuke behind. The blonde also walked away, he really needed some training.

Sasuke took his steps slowly. He noticed four Chakra signatures approach from foward.

"Sasuke?"

The blonde-haired girl ran up to him with a smile, she embraced him. Sasuke gently smiled at her antics.

"So, you're Sasuke Uchiha, huh?"

Sasuke glanced at the Veteran Jonin known as Asuma Sarutobi, beside him stood Shika and Choji.

"It's good to meet you, Sarutobi-Sensei"

Asuma noticed the look in Sasuke's eyes, his aura alone spoke what he had gone through... Asuma lit up a cigar and smoked it.

"So... How many?"

Sasuke understood what the man was talking about, he gave him such a look at that.

Asuma looked visibly surprised, he glanced at the kid once more.

"Not bad... Not bad at all"

Asuma walked past Sasuke, Shika gave him a slap on the back of his head, causing Sasuke to kiss Ino's cheeks.

"Shi-"

Sasuke was cut off short as Ino kissed his neck before following Asuma with a cheeky smile on her face.

'... What a girl'

Sasuke shook his head, hopefully, she would come unscathed from her mission.

"Oh... I forgot we're the only ones who requested a C-Rank. Ino's probably doing an E or D Rank mission"

Sasuke went to his apartment. He pulled out his mask and placed it beside the washbasin before taking off the baggy clothes to change into comfier ones.

Sasuke got on his bed and started pondering. Who was this Hidan guy? Why would he want teenage girls... Only questions arose without any answers.

Before he even knew it, Sasuke trailed off to a sleep. He wasn't exhausted or sleepy, just felt like sleeping.

Sasuke slowly opened his eyes, he felt someone squeezing cheeks. A teal-eyed girl was on top of him, trying to wake him up.

Sasuke pulled her down and hugged her. Ino blushed slightly at the aggressive display, Sasuke snuggled her and closed his eyes once more.

"Idiot... I guess I'll give him the gift after he wakes up"

Ino buried her head in his chest, she enjoyed the warmth of his body. She was getting lonely in these past days without Sasuke, she really couldn't even sleep properly.

How did she get into the apartment? Even I don't know that.
