Robert dropped his bombshell leaving the room in deafening silence, How did the man know about their fight? Did one of the servants hear them?

"Well? I'm waiting..." He said as he sipped his wine and cut through his steak again as if he was having a casual dinner chat.

"We didn't exactly quarrel," Ray said, "it was just a small misunderstanding that we cleared up right away," he finished with a slick smoothness that only a lawyer could manage.

"do small misunderstandings include punches in the face?"

"That was all me, Sir," Adam said nonchalantly as if none of this affected him.

"And what is it that Cade did to make you punch him in the face?" Robert said with the patience of a saint

"As you said, Sir. there have been some rumors circulating around your daily about Sarah. And it looks like Cade was concerned about how her bad character would affect Elias negatively, so he decided to face her with the truth," Adam said
