Sparring for approval

" Hey fu, what are we doing here now? "

Shu questioned as he sat down on brown and seemingly boiling ground.

" Yeah, I can barely breathe "

Arthur added as Shu turned to look at him, tilting his head a bit.

" I can breathe just fine though, but I gotta admit, it is pretty hot "

Shu said as he laid on the ground, looking up at the ceiling getting a better look at the place.

It was like a cave, pretty big and spacious, it had a pool of lava and in the middle of that pool was a terrain of solid ground, which was where, Fu, Shu, Ayami, and Arthur found themselves on.

" Well, you will all be prohibited the use of Sanctuary Energy, unfortunately for you guys, I won't tell why. Anyway! "

Fu said as he clapped his hands together, causing a shockwave that cooled the area for a few seconds

" You will all fight! And whoever wins becomes my student, as for the losers, you guys will become Ana's students "

He added, proceeding to shove his right hand inside of his pant's pocket, taking out bread which he placed in his mouth, starting to chew from it; preparing himself to leave the area

" I know why he has us training here, grandpa did some similar like this to me, he had me inside of a waterfall, training with half of my body submerged, he said it was so that I could adapt to any environment "

Shu explained as he stood up from the ground, cracking his neck and then his knuckles, taking in a deep breath while looking at Fu's back.

The man couldn't help but smile, raising his eyebrows with a calm expression on his face. He turned around, looking at Shu closely before chuckling

" I almost became disappointed in you, I thought you didn't know why I brought you all here, but I guess as a fellow student of Yorujo's you'd eventually figure it out, anyway. Forget the rule I said about no Sanctuary Energy, I almost nearly forgot who Shu's grandfather was "

Fu said, chuckling a little before disappearing in a blur of speed, leaving the three kids in that cave-looking place

" Well, it's my time to abuse you guys "

Shu said as a diabolical smile grew on his face

" Oh shit- "

Arthur whispered, but even before that sentence could leave his mouth, his face was already sunk into the ground by Shu's hand

" Hmm, you guys shouldn't have become accustomed to that calm and precise fighting style you three developed, you guys can barely react to my movements "

Shu said as he disappeared in a blur of speed, appearing right in front of Ayami, causing a small explosion of wind from how quickly he was

" Grandpa told me to never hit a woman unless of course... "

Shu whispered, punching Ayami right in her gut, causing a burst of air that shook the dense lava itself

" It was a fight "

Shu finished, grabbing Ayami by her hair right before she could be sent flying by the pressure of Shu's attack.

The boy would then pull her down, slamming her face straight into the ground, so violently her entire head was dragged on it.

As that happened, Arthur began to slowly stand, pulling his head out of the ground with a bit of difficulty

" Damm he hit me pretty hard.. "

Arthur whispered as he rubbed the back of his head a bit, but before he could do anything else, Shu already found himself in front of him

" Oh. You're up. "

Shu said with a very straightforward and deep tone before, kicking Arthur right in his face sending him flying toward the ceiling of the cave.

The moment Arthur hit the ceiling, his head got stuck in it. Feeling that he had already dealt with him, Shu turned to look at Ayami, who was beginning to recover.

" I already learned from Arthur's mistake! "

Ayami yelled as she covered her entire body with a square of dense and sturdy wind, but to her surprise, Shu would pierce right through the shield of air, breaking it like glass, landing a strong and ruthless strike right in her face, making her entire body spin, as the shockwave he created shook the cave itself.

" Why did Fu have is fight this fucking demon? "

Arthur asked himself, as he freed his head from the cave's ceiling, using the fact that Shu shook it entirely as an excuse if the boy were to ever ask.

After a few seconds, Arthur landed on the ground, but to be expected; Shu was already there, prepared to meet him, with a fist coated in a neon blue aura

" This fucking bastard "

Arthur whispered, allowing ice to spread across his entire right arm, clashing his fist with Shu's, causing an even greater shockwave than before, leaving cracks on the walls.

Though, Arthur lost the clash, as Shu simply possessed too much strength compared to his, leading to Arthur fracturing a few of his knuckles, and almost his entire wrist

" I'm stronger than you all "

Shu whispered with his eyes wide open, and all Arthur saw in his eyes before his head was held was a pitch black aura lingering inside of Shu's pupils, right after that he was slammed against the ground and stepped on by Shu, who dodged a knife made out of air

" Those are useless "

Shu said as he appeared right in front of her, holding her hand, which she held out, indicating that, that was from where the knife came from.

Shu would then tighten his grip on her hand, causing her to whine in a pain as his eyes spread open as far as they could, but before the boy could continue, he was interrupted

" Alright that's enough, at this point you'll just end up killing these two. They don't even have to awaken for me to tell "

Fu said as he appeared beside Shu and Ayami in a blur of speed, proceeding to hold onto Shu's arm, squeezing it a bit almost as if telling him to ' let go ' which he did.

" I kind of expected this outcome but, Shu will from now on be trained by me personally, that, of course, means that you two will be trained by Ana, she'll pick you both up in a minute, until then, try to rest "

Fu said, as he played with Shu's hair, rubbing it roughly, making a mess out of it before disappearing in a blur of speed, dragging Shu along.
