Galahad Percival

"Sir, are you perhaps part of a high-ranking noble family?"

The boy asked as he followed behind Shu, who precisely avoided traps which he unconsciously stepped on

"Why do you ask?"

Shu questioned, as he placed his hand on a wall, looking around, finding himself with a little bit of trouble. He had encountered two pathways and he did not know which to choose

"Well— I mean, considering that you attacked a noble without much care, means that you're either part of the Royal Family or of a higher ranking Noble Family"

The boy replied as he stared at Shu's back, following him to the right as it was the passageway that Shu chose

"Royal? Noble? What's that?"

Shu questioned, as he continued to walk, shoving his hands inside of his pockets while looking around

"Well you know, the highest-ranking families in the kingdo-"

The boy would pause dramatically, realizing what Shu had just said. His eyes would widen as sweat began to fall from his head at extreme speeds

"W-wait hold on, s-so does that mean you aren't part of a noble family!?"

The boy yelled, proceeding to hold his head tight, tugging on his hair as he began to breathe with difficulty

"I'm not sure if I am or not—but if I'd have to say—then. No, I'm not"

Shu replied with sincerity and innocence in his tone, stopping at a pile of rocks, which covered the road he was planning on taking

"Th-then why'd you attack that noble!? I'm a noble myself but I'm pretty down in the rankings, I'm almost as low as the Bermudez Family!—-oh man, what will everyone think? They will most definitely take Alvin's side...dammit I'm so screwed"

The boy said to himself, with a cracking tone and tears eyes. Slowly beginning to cry, he'd tug on his hair harder, pulling it down to cover his eyes

"What are you so scared about? So what if they're a noble family? It isn't like nobles control everything-"

Shu would pause, as the boy glared at him with visible anger on his eyes

"W-well, even if it was. All you have to do is beat their asses, and since I got you into this mess, I'll do it for you!"

Shu replied, with a nervous smile on his face, of course, he wasn't nervous because he was afraid of the kid, but rather because he wasn't sure what the solution to his problem was

"It's fine, forget it, it's best to just take the blame for it and call it a day—it happens all the time anyway. Sorry for acting like that, I almost blamed everything on you"

The boy whispered, loud enough for Shu to hear, while slowly wiping away his tears, sucking in his snot with a sad expression

"Hmm—Hey, what's your name?"

Shu questioned, as he turned his attention back to the rocks, which blocked his way. Pushing the rocks back, he'd open up the passageway again, kicking the rocks away as he waited for the boy's answer

"My name?—My name's Galahad Percival, why?"

The boy now known as Galahad answered, staring at Shu with a now more calm expression

"That's a long-ass name. But alright then, Percival, don't worry, I'll take care of this for you"

Shu replied while turning his face and attention toward Galahad, smiling at him, as Galahad would simply sigh

"What can a commoner do that a noble can't?"

Galahad questioned, staring at Shu's eyes with seriousness

"Well a lot actually, for starters I was able to beat the shit out of that noble, but that doesn't matter, just trust me, I'll make it all better for you"

Shu added, to his earlier statement, making Galahad smile a little, as they would then continue to walk

"Thanks..."

Galahad whispered as he looked down at the ground, with a slight blush on his cheeks

"By the way, I could have taken care of Alvin if I wanted to!"

Galahad replied with a now more upbeat tone, causing Shu to loudly chuckle

"Yeah, I know you could've. You have way more Sanctuary Energy than that guy, so it would have probably been a piece of cake for you"

Shu said, complementing the boy, as he would then stretch his right hand out, stopping a boulder which rushed at them with the intent to crush them flat

"More? How could you possibly know the amount of Sanctuary Energy another person possesses?"

Galahad questioned as he watched Shu crush the boulder with his bare hands, condensing it down to a small circular pebble

"Let's just say it's my ability, for now. Anyway here"

Shu replied, proceeding to lay the small pebble on Galahad's hand, and as soon as he held it, his hand would crash against the ground

"What the hell?.."

Galahad said to himself, as he stared at the pebble, trying to lift his hand up

"Why is this so god damm heavy?.."

Galahad questioned, as he lifted his hand, using his other to support the weight of the pebble, letting it slip down his hand, seeing as it crashed and sunk against the ground

"The boulder was charged with Sanctuary Energy, so condensing it into a pebble made it so that the Energy would merge in a singular point, it became so dense that it grew heavy"

Shu explained as he scratched the back of his head, finding himself on what seemed to be the edge of a mountain

"Guess I took the wrong turn"

He said to himself, proceeding to turn around, heading to yet another passageway while being followed by Galahad

"Why didn't you tell me about the pebble thing?"

Galahad questioned as he moved his right wrist back and forth, trying to get rid of the pain

"I thought you'd knew"

Shu replied as he placed his left hand in front of Galahad, stopping him from walking as a gigantic ax flew from the side, which would have killed Galahad of Shu hadn't pulled him

"H-how would I know?"

Galahad asked, a bit shocked at the fact that he almost died, but soon after, Shu would continue to walk, being followed by Galahad yet again

"Well, I thought that the academy would help its students reach The Discern level of Sanctuary control"

Shu replied while yawning loudly as Galahad's face took the expression of confusion

"Wait! You're telling me there are more levels to the Sanctuary control spectrum? I thought that there were only 'Beginner' and 'Enhance!"

Galahad yelled, before crashing against Shu's hard back and falling against the ground

"Look at what I found"

Shu whispered as a smirk grew on his face.
