Daughter of Percival

" What!?! The royal family!?!… "

A man whispered to himself as he looked down at a fighting stadium, then over at what seemed to be a crowd of people surrounding the stadium, cheering on, yelling at the man who seemed to be floating in the air to 'start the tournament already'

The man chuckled a bit and then looked over at what seemed to be a box resembling that of a room with seats in it, floating above the people who were seated on the seats surrounding the stadium

" Uh—before we start, I'd like to make an announcement!! Everyone the royal family and the Duke of the family Lianert are making in appearance today, please welcome them!! "

The man yelled out on what seemed to be a floating rock, which made his voice echo all across the stadium, making the people cheer in excitement as they jumped off of their seats.

Soon after, what seemed to be giant blue screens surrounded the entire stadium for everyone to see, these screens showed Shu, and Ean, with their families seating on the chairs of the flying box above the stadium.

Shu was wearing a kingly attire, with a blue royal mantle on his shoulders, his sons were wearing similar clothes. His daughter and wives all each wore a dress.

Ayami a red one, tight and short, down to her thighs. Emma wore a long white dress, that left her back exposed, and her left thigh opened.

Yuyen wore a pink dress down to her legs, with long see through sleeves, his daughter of course just wore a tiny dress meant for a child, very similar to her mother's, red but long, to cover her completely.

Ean was wearing a black and white suit and tie, he didn't really care for this academy tournament and decided to wear something simple.

His wife and son in the other hand were different, Petra was wearing a violet dress, with small Diamond like designs all over the edges.

Asterlin, Ean's son, was wearing a black Kimino with a white robe above it.

" A Duke and a king, both in the same place, to be honest I don't care if this tournament is as shitty as the last one, at least we got a glimpse at the future rulers! "

Were the words the people were yelling, or well, something along those lines, according to the citizens, it seemed like the royal children weren't present all the much, when it came to royal appearances that is, but that much could also apply to Shu, as he was gone for years

" Do you have any thing to say before we start the tournament my king? "

The man floating above the stadium said, as a rock similar to the one the man had close to his mouth appeared in front of Shu's face

" Uh. Well, I wish everyone good luck, and I hope to see fair and clean matches, stay save and give it all you got "

The man nodded as the rock in front of Shu disappeared

" Well you heard it here first folks, the king seems to be excited for the upcoming matches—- "

The man went on talking as Shu eyes would travel across the stadium, seeing all the participants at the side, waiting for their matches, but a girl in particular caught his attention; a girl with long braided blonde hair, silver armor and what seemed to be a rapier to her hip.

" You see that Ean? "

Shu questioned as he turned to look over at the man, who looked back to him

" Yeah, she looks like she has promise, but, is it just me or does she look familiar? "

Ean replied, to which Shu nodded, activating his discern; ability to sense energy, which made his body shine for a second

" Yeah, her energy is also very familiar, maybe she's the daughter of someone we know? "

Shu questioned, which Ean nod in agreement; and as their conversation went on, the man floating in the sky began to raise his voice

" And now for our first match!! Fiana Percival vs —— "

" Percival! "

Shu yelled, as Ean would then turn to look at the man, opening his eyes a bit

" Percival? Wasn't that one of the weakest noble families back when Romulus ruled? I've heard they grew in strength and reputation "

Ean said, looking at the girl, and analyzing her appearance, looking at it through a political stand point

" I remember meeting this one nice guy back when I participated in academy tournament, I think we met back in the maze, can't really remember, but I know his name is Gal—Gala something something Percival; so that must mean this girl is either his daughter or niece, either way, I intend to talk to her after the tournament ends "

Shu said, now completely intrigued in what was happening, watching the fight that had just started, which surprised everyone else in the room, as Shu hasn't been too intrigued in things lately.

As that happened, the girl Fiana, began to unsheathe her rapier, pointing its deadly tip at her opponent, who seemed to be a boy heavily armored

" That armor won't save you from my Rapier "

She whispered, making the guy chuckle, staring at her with arrogance; but soon after, glowing yellow flower petals began to surround her rapier as she, slowly pulled it back, taking a lunching stance, as if she was going to shoot herself at him.

Which she did, disappearing in a blur of speed, and appearing behind the armored boy with her rapier pointed straight, behind her was a trail of yellow petals that began to vanish in thin air.

After a few seconds, the thick armored boy fell down to the ground, and with his fall came the cheering from the crowd who began to stand up and applaud

" Looks, like she's strong with her technique "

Shu said, with a smile on his face as he leaned back against his chair, looking over at Ean who nodded at the concluded battle with approval

" She is promising indeed "
