Intermediate Alchemist

"Guests, please come inside" Felicity said politely.

The various guild representatives walked inside.

"This man is Pat, he is the manager of the guild's trades and shops. The young man here is our Guild Master, Sensations" Felicity introduced them to the representatives.

"I am the representative of World Dominators"

"I am here representing Star Alliance"

"We are Ouroboros representatives"

"I am Youlan and he is Lone Tyrant, from Overwhelming Smile"

"Sorry I've made you wait" Leroy said and signaled them to seat around the large wooden table in the room while he took a seat next to Old Pat.

"I know that some of you wants to invest into our shop, but I need to tell you that we don't need any investment" Leroy stated beforehand, the other guild representatives sighed, but they understood, how would a guild that builded a shop in the center of Star-Moon Kingdom lack money?.

But Lone Tyrant frowned as he heard this.

"The amount of money we can give for the shop shares is not something other guilds can compare, I hope you can reconsider" Lone Tyrant said with arrogance leaking through his eyes.

Old Pat had a disatisfied expression that made Youlan frown inside. But it was Leroy who responded to him.

"First, Overwhelming Smile can't offer anything we cannot acquire ourselves or be offered by the guilds present here. Second, Overwhelming Smile members had ambushed ours in White Fog Canyon, does someone named Oriental Sword sounds familiar to you?." He then moved his gaze from Lone Tyrant and fell on Youlan.

"And third and most important, we negotiate with the master, not with the dogs. If Underworld wants to cooperate, they can represent themselves." His words flowed like water one behind the other.

His words shocked the other representatives, 'Underworld is backing Underwhelming Smile? No wonder such a guild grew so fast'.

Youlan had an ugly expression on her face, he revealed their connection just like that. That idiot of Oriental Sword will definetly pay.

On the other hand, Lone Tyrant arrogant face turned red with shame who turned into anger. "Sensations, Raven Guild only has so much members, cooperating with us would've been much more beneficial. As for Oriental Sword attacking your members, you were in White Fog Canyon who belonged to us in the first place!"

"This little thing... even with Underworld support, you still can't secure a place in White River City, on the other hand you are now in Star-Moon City. It would be unwise to offend the local guilds before you can even expand here" Leroy said with an amused expression.

The other guild representatives all nodded silently, Overwhelming Smile has been growing very fast, but it would be terminal stupid to start offending the guilds here. On average the players in Star-Moon City had higher levels, better equipment and techniques than those of other cities, the first-rate guilds here were also stronger than the ones on other cities.

Moreover it was true that Overwhelming Smile hand't secured a place on White River City and was constantly being surpassed by a starter guild called Zero Wing, he simply didn't have the qualifications to act arrogant here.

"You..." Lone Tyrant face changed colors.

"I apologize for his reaction..." Youlan tried to explain but inmediatly cut by Leroy.

"No need, isn't he the Guild Master here? He even needs a babysiter to take care of him" Leroy said in disdain, the various guild representatives had a hard time containing their laughs, if it wasn't for the shadow of Underworld they probably wouldn't be able to.

"You actually want things to be like these, there'll come the day you regret your words today" Lone Tyrant said in rage.

"It seems that Underworld really doesn't put us in their eyes..." Leroy said while looking at Youlan with pity, having to follow someone like Lone Tyrant...

His gaze didn't escape Lone Tyrant go grew even angrier as he left. Youlan didn't say anything and left, she and Underworld lost too much face already.

"Now that the child is gone, this is our initial proposal, please take the time to read it" Leroy passed some pages to them. Those here that sign the agreement will receive one copy of this" Leroy said and passed a few papers to them.

Fine Recovery Potion (Recipe).

Seeing the item, the various representatives where shocked, they were even willing to put this precious recipe on the table!. To most guilds, recipes were something that would give them a greater advantage and player made recipes would definetly not be sold outside.

"It is only one copy per guild, altough it won't be enough to supply an entire guild, providing for a team of 100 daily shouldn't be a problem" Leroy said. Altough it was true that recipes were precious, he could now use this chance to create a good impression on the guilds present. Before that the Fine Recovery Potion entered the market, players would already now of it and to buy them at Raven Goods Shop.

Most of the representatives could see through this, but it is still a tempting offer, and in the end, those who didn't reach an agreement would leave with empty hands, the others with a rare recipe.

A few hours passed like these as Leroy and Pat met the large guilds representatives. Leroy then left and let Pat take charge of everything. Actually the main reason to be here was to give the guild representatives some face in their first interactions, he wouldn't be here negotiating with them usualy.

Second Floor

On the second floor of the shop were the various Forging, Alchemy and Tailoring Rooms where the guild's lifestyle players crafted the items sold in the shop. These lifestyle players received many benefits from the guild and were most loyal. Usually these type of players would just decide to work in a single guild, it was when some other guild make an offer too tempting that they changed guilds. So long they could make money and received recipes and materials, they wouldn't move.

In terms of benefits, Raven Goods conditions were better than other guilds, and with Leroy passing down a few recipes it was enough to lure some alchemists over

Inside an alchemy room, Leroy contemplated the flame on his hand. 'Sharing it with the guild members would create unnecesary trouble with Old Pat and his investors.'

He then started heating herbs and Falling Moon Fruits.

Potions were just empty vials filled with a carefuly crafted liquid. One could create more potions if one just used equipment with a bigger capacity, however, equipment with higher capacity would require higher heat as to melt the materials.

If one had good equipment and a strong source of heat, they could more potions in a single process, all they needed was to scale and balance the quantity of materials required, and then fill the empty vials.

Leroy had a strong source of heat, the Starfire Flame was much stronger than the default Tier 1 Flame that rooms would use.

With full control over the flame, he melted and mixed the herbs, fruit and other elements into the final Sensations Casting Potion's liquid mix, which then filled the empty vials, finishing the crafting process.

He continued crafting and after more than an hour almost a thousand potions were created, his improved speed and perfect success rate was something that no ordinary alchemist could replicate.

Next, he took out other different set of herbs and started crafting the Fine Recovery Potions.

Six hours later, 10,600 potions were ready for use. Compared to his casting potion, the Fine Recovery Potion used common materials to change the recipe of the Intermediate Recovery Potion. They melted and mixed faster.

After he finished crafting potions, he already became a Basic Alchemist, one rank higher than the Advanced-Apprentice, but it had many more benefits, they just were not on the same league, his success rate improved and his crafting speed was also more agile, he could also learn new potions recipes too.

'My alchemy technique has no effect on potions of this rank...' He needed to find a new usable technique if he wanted to keep his high success rate. Now, he had higher stats, more familiarity with the game and the system upgrades gave players much more control over their bodies, it wouldn't be hard to find one.

As he continued to craft, he controled the starfire to move in a different pattern, also using his mana, the herbs moved in synchrony while the liquid mix produced small whirlpools on the inside.

The crafting succeded but the quantity was lesser than before... he continued to test the same technique adding small variations....

An entire day passed like these...

Crafted Basic Fire Resistance Potion...

Crafted Basic Frost Resistance Potion...

Once he was satisfied with the results, he tried using the technique to craft was many techniques as possible.

Another day passed...

More and more players were joining God's Domain at each passing day.

The Warfire Set Equipment's price raised constantly, but the supply was low. This could provided a high income for the guild, as they have quite a few sets completed that could be sold, yet Old Pat choose not to sell any and wait for it to reach the maximun price.

The war between Overwhelming Smile and Zero Wing, has escalated, all level 20 maps around White River City has become a battlefield for the two guilds.

But it changed quickly once again as a new guild started attacking Overwhelming Smile players, altough their number was less than a hundred, they could easily dispatch more than 2,000 Overwhelming Smile members, they were people from Raven Sanctuary.

"Is Raven Sanctuary allied with Zero Wing?"

"I heard that Overwhelming Smile ambushed players from Raven Sanctuary before, at White Fog Canyon"

"Now it seems they truly bited more than they can chew"

"I heard that Lone Tyrant insulted Raven Sanctuary on his own shop in Star-Moon City"

"Now that's a new level of stupidity"

The balance of the war was quickly broken and Overwhelming Smile members started leaving the guild while most didn't left the cities.

Meanwhile in an Alchemy Room

"Finally, its perfected..." Leroy said while quickly moving his hands and filling empty vials one after another.

The increase in the success rate that this new technique give was not comparable to the previous one. But the production speed and amount were much higher.

'I've reached Intermediate Forger rank already...' after being in closed doors for so long, he didn't continue to craft with his now perfected technique.

All he needed was skill proficiency and his rank would increase, it was certainly not a hard thing to do with all the resources he used and his success rate.

'Now, it's time to visit Heartfield' Leroy walked toward the Grand Duke mansion while at the same time thinking if he should become a Forger.
