The Spear Art backlash struck sephie and she fell unconscious immediately.

She opened her eyes to see the bright sun hanging in the sky, her body arching as she tried to move it, she could feel the taste of blood in her mouth and a piercing pain in her ankle.

Ignoring the pain Sephie dragged herself up and sat on the floor, looking around to get her bearings, information about what happened the previous night flooded her memory and she remembered why she was lying in the forest.

"I did it, my first day fighting PAWN RANK beasts and I won... hahaha" Sephie laughed as she said out loud.

"Ohh, that is incredible, I know something was wrong with you" She heard a voice in her mind, it oddly sounded familiar to the Male White wolf that told her to escape the night before.

She turned her face to her back and there it was lying on the floor, the 3 feet tall wolf with it 3 tails as she looked closer she could see what looked like another tail but it was cut short, making her realize that the white wolf was indeed a ROOK RANK beast, a beast that as strong as 4th and 5th-Circle warrior.

Although she had killed PAWN RANK beasts that were above the beast a warrior her level should be able to kill alone yet, she had no hope of surviving in the presence of a ROOK BEAST.

Seeing the look on her face the white wolf tried to clear the air of any tense atmosphere "You don't have to be worried, I am not your enemy, I just have a few questions to ask you if you don't mind, and please answer them correctly" the white wolf said.

Sephie nodded her head out of fear, since the wolf was not attacking her she decided to keep it that way, which included answering the wolf's questions.

"OK firstly, Who are you and what are you doing inside this forest," The wolf asked.

"My name is Sephie Swiss, and I am a lamia, I came into the forest to hunt beast" She replied.

The wolf nodded its head in approval, it was the answer it expected, it was no surprise that anyone who entered into the Forest did so in search of greater powers.

"When I first saw you, I could feel the Energy of a level 1 [Mortal] warrior so I would like to know how you seemly reach Level 4 in one night," the wolf asked.

Sephie eyes widened in shock, she immediately checked her status.

"What, I reached level 4 in a single night," she said with a hint of disbelief in her voice, even absorbing high-grade Energy crystal or Beast core it would still take months if not years for a normal warrior to increase in stage.

" 6 more levels and I will become a [1st-Circle] warrior and that is a Circle closer to my brother," she said as an idea popped into her mind.

"I am what you call a Warlock, if what my parents taught me was to go by, Warlocks are strong individuals who are blessed with Magicka and Zin Energy, but I have no idea if it has anything to do with how I increased level this fast" Sephie replied the Wolf.

"Hummmm..... Warlocks, I know about them, I also thought as much, it was either a warlock or a Demigod, and that would be strange because no gods have interacted with mortals in centuries" The white wolf replied as it went into deep thinking.

"Demigod, what is that," she asked the wolf, it was her first time hearing such a word since almost all her knowledge of this world came from her parents and other tribe members, she had not heard any of them mention the word Demigod, and she was eager to learn.

"Ohhhh, you don't know about them, well you shouldn't worry about that, the possibility of you meeting a Demigod is zero to none, I have one more question," the white wolf said, Sephie nodded for the wolf to continue.

"You want to get strong, Why," the Wolf asked

"It's simple, I need to get revenge for my parents and for what the vampires did to my race, and I don't care how long it takes me I must become strong" Sephie replied with a solemn face.

"Revenge is a very strong motivator, I can help you with that, but are you sure you can handle the difficulty of this task, it involves leaving your tribe," the wolf said as it stared into Sephie's eyes.

"If it will help me get strong, I am willing to do it" She declared in determination.

"Very well, you will journey into the forest, in search of stronger beasts to kill, I will give you two gifts to help you along the way, well more like a gift and a favor," the white wolf said as he stood up and walked closer to sephie.

Sephie's heartbeat increased rapidly as she watched the wolf walk up to her, the wolf stopped in front and a little light in the shape of a puppy appeared beside the white wolf, as the light disappeared sephie was a white wolf puppy beside the white wolf.

"I will need you to take him with you, he is my son, and although he is a little weak now, you will get to see its full potential when he evolves" The white wolf pushed the puppy towards sephie, the puppy got up and walked towards sephie, smelling her body before rubbing its body against hers.

Sephie was taken about as she saw the Soul card's Message, from what she knew only Beast Tamer and Druids can Tame Beast and she wasn't any of those two, so how come?

Sensing the confusion from sephie the white wolf explained "Don't worry about not being a Druid or Tamer, Warlocks are also a little bit similar to Druids in a way, so Warlocks can also tame beasts"

Sephie nodded her head at the wolf's explanation, she had discovered two new things today from this seemly wise wolf, she focused on the Soul Card message, 'It would be great to have a Beast companion, that could watch your back in battle, but why is he giving it to me, there must be a reason' she thought but as long as it helps her become stronger she cares little about the price she has to pay, so she accepted the Beast contrast.

The wolf puppy bit her hand to form the bond between them and a new Soul Card interface opened to Sephie.

"A divine beast, how!" sephie couldn't help but voice out, Divine beasts were regarded as the Apex predator in all the Beast species, sephie had only had rumors about them, some claims that Divine beasts are myths, but right here standing before her was a divine wolf puppy.

"You don't need to worry about that, this is where I will give you my advice on how to get stronger quickly, like I said roam around the forest, and you will find stronger beings that will help you in your goal, and finally I will leave you with this gift" the wolf walked towards sephie.
