*Title at the end*

Logan sat his duffle bag on the desk in the guest room he was given. His mind was racing as he sat on the bed. He had just arrived at Taiyang's house with Qrow and Tai. But there was a person that was completely out of his expectations.

Logan: 'That blindsided me.' Logan thought with his hands covering his face. 'I didn't think of how much *that* effect would affect the timeline. But what changed it? Was it my presence? Or was it something I did? But for her to be alive and somewhat well... How much have I changed the timeline? How much of it is different to the one I know?' Logan thought as he layed back on the bed. 'I'm too far out of my comfort zone. What should I do?'

-Flashback-

Qrow was taking Logan with him as he walked back to his brother-in-law's house. As they walked, Qrow showed Logan the stores they passed by. Telling him which one was what. As they passed a pharmacy, Qrow stopped and introduced someone to Logan as they came out.

Qrow: "Here we go. Kid, this is Taiyang Xao Long. Tai, this is Logan Scarlett. Tai, this is kid I was telling you about."

A man with blond hair that has two small strands sticking out from the top and blue eyes. His facial hair consists of a soul patch and small stubble along his jawline. On his right arm is a tattoo of his emblem, which resembles a heart. His hair was a bright shade of gold. He wore brown cargo shorts with a dark brown belt, black shoes, a red bandana on his left arm and a brown leather vest over a tan dress shirt with the right sleeve cut off. For armor, he wears a metal spaulder, leather vambrace and a brown fingerless glove all on his right arm. He also had a bag in one hand with the pharmicy's logo on it. Logan knew who he was almost immediately upon seeing him.

Tai: "Oh, hey Qrow. So this is the one you were talking about. Nice to meet ya. You can just call me Tai if you want."

Logan: "It's good to meet you too, Mr Xiao Long. Qrow told me a lot about you as well. And I hope all that he said about me was good."

Tai: " *Chuckle* You don't have to be so formal. So, what brings you all the way out to Vale?" Tai asked as the three of them started to walk toward's Tai's home. "Let me guess, your here for the lovely weather, or is it the local delicacies?"

Logan: " *Chuckle* Well, no but a lot of things really. But I needed a place to stay a while, and when I called and asked Qrow if he had somewhere I could, he told me he would check with you."

Tai: "Well, I don't mind if you do as long as you help around the house. But, your eleven right? What did your parents say about you traveling so far?"

Qrow: "Hey, even I been meaning to ask ya that myself. I can't see your pops accepting it so easily. Even if your some kind of super genious.

Logan: " I... I couldn't stay there." Logan studdered out an acted response. Qrow and Tai glanced at each other. An unspoken discusstion went between them

Qrow: "Haaa... What happened, kid? From what I know about ya, your one to bottle up your problems till ya burst. Let it out, we'll listen." Qrow stated as he placed his hand inside his waistcoat.

Logan didn't say anything for a bit. But the look on his face said it all. After a few moments, Logan pulled them off into an allyway, away from the hussle and bussle of the street.

Logan: "Look... you remember what Ghira said about those who are locked inside that prison on Menagerie?"

Qrow: "Ya, he said those are the most dangerous Faunus there are. What about it?" Qrow responded while filling in Tai.

Logan: "I left after an 'attempted' prison break."

Tai/Qrow: "What!?"

Logan: "That's not all. I stumbeled on it as it was happening. And... I..." Logan stopped, as if he couldn't go on.

Qrow: "Kid, tell us what happened." Qrow said as he got down on a knee and held Logan's shoulders.

Logan: "Qrow, the breakout was planed so that a ex-member of the 'White Fang Terrorist Group', Adam Taurus, could get out. Their escape plan was to use 'Grimm Bait' to cause a distraction."

Tai: "Qrow, 'Grimm Bait' is highly illegal. Whoever this was, they weren't just gonna end with that. They were up to something big!"

Logan: "Tai's right. I put a damper on their plans, but.... They tortured a few of the guards, ate a few, and turned some of them into some *Urp* grizzily 'art'. Whoever they are, they are sick, twisted, and were after me."

Tai: "Why would they be after you?" Tai questioned Logan.

Qrow: "Tai, he's responsabile for Kuo Kuana's growth. My guess is that they had plans for it and Logan disrupted them greatly."

Logan: "Not only that. I... I lost it. I blanked out. Out of...of rage...I... I killed...." Logan stopped as if he couldn't go on. His head hung down and tears started to dropp from his eyes. "I don't know how many I killed." Logan said in a very low and quiet voice.

Qrow: "Kid...." Qrow didn't know what to do. All that he knew about Logan didn't prepare him for this unexpected side of him. A side that reminded Qrow that he was just a kid.

Tai push Qrow away and hugged Logan tightly. Logan latched on to Tai and cried his heart out. Even though it looked like that all the ones that he killed broke his mind, Logan was acting. Acting as if he was really tore up about what he did.

Logan: 'From how their acting, I guess they believe me. I really hope they do.' Logan cried for a few more moments, afterward Logan wiped his tears. "Thank you, I just can't go back there right now. I... I just can't face my family after what I've done."

Tai: "It's okay. You can stay with me for as long as you need to. I'm sure my wife will agree with me." With what Tai said, Logan gave him a wry smile.

Logan: "Thank you..." But inside, Logan was confused. 'Wife? Raven should have left by now and Summer should be dead due to a mission gone wrong. Did he marry someone new?'

Qrow: "Come on, let's get home. Summer is waiting, isn't she?" Qrow said to move on.

Logan: 'Summer!? She's alive?' Logan thought and nearly shouted.

Tai: "Yea, she is. Come on Logan, you'll like her." Tai said, agreeing with Qrow.

It took a bit to travel to Tai's house. But it was worth it, as Logan could appreciated the location Tai had got. A wide and large two-story log cabin with what appears to be a sheet metal roof in dull red and surrounded by woods. A wide clearing close to the house had a circular sand patch for any traing one can do. Tai had welcomed Logan and had him come inside wile Qrow followed. As Logan entered, he could see that nothing had changed from the show.

The center of the living room is dominated by a light green rug, with a dark green couch and matching chair and a wooden coffee table centered in the rug. Between the couch and chair is an end table with a lamp on it, and at the other end of the couch is a dog bed. At the end of the rug is a wooden TV stand with a holographic projector lying on top of it and a potted plant at one end. On the wall behind the TV stand is a doorway leading to the kitchen, a large portrait depicting a night scene, and a shelving unit containing numerous books. To the left of the couch is a large brick fireplace with small pictures on the mantle and a large landscape featured above the grate. To the right of the couch is a corner staircase leading upstairs, with the door to a cabinet and a pair of small landscape pictures underneath. A low bookshelf and another green rug lie along the wall at the end of the staircase, topped by another lamp. A trio of landscapes are vertically stacked on the wall at the bottom of the stairs. All of it was as Logan remembered, execpt for one thing. Sitting there on the couch and turnung to face the new arrivals was a young and beautiful woman with black and red hair. Similar looks to Ruby, and the same complextion as well, but older. She wore a white cloak and a red one piece summer dress. Sat there was none other then Summer Rose. Ruby's biological mother and Yang's stepmother.

Tai: "Hey, hun. I'm back. Qrow's here as well and he brought a guest. Logan, meet my wife, Summer. Summer, this is Logan Scarlett. He's asked if he can stay with us for a while.

Summer: "Oh, hello there young man. It's a pleasure to meet the one Qrow was bragging about, and taunting as well." Summer said. Her voice, though low and soft, held an elagance that few would be graced with.

Logan: "It's a pleasure to me you as well, Mrs. Xiao Long." Logan replied with a slight bow.

Summer: "Please, call me Summer." Summer replied with a simle that radiated comfort.

Just like Tai had said, Summer quickly accepted Logan with open arms after she learned what had happened according to Logan. She had asked if there was any thing he needed, but Logan had just asked for a place to stay for the foreseeable future. She didn't mind as Tai had said. It didn't click untill Logan was being shown to the rom he could use by Tai as he walked up the stairs. She had a robotic leg from the knee down for a left leg. And her eyes seemed to be dimmer then normal. He couldn't help but ask Tai.

Logan: "Hey, Tai? Is Summer okay? With her eyes I mean."

Tai: "Yea, she's fine." He said as he stopped infront of a door.

Logan: "Her eyes seemed dimmer then normal eyes... Ah! If I was being rude, I'm sorry." Logan apologized as he averted his gaze from Tai's.

Tai: "No, your right. I'm surprised that you noticed. And your fine. Her eyesight was damaged before she retired as a Huntress. She can see, but she loses focus in her sight every now and then." Tai answered Logan as he opened the door he was in front of. "Here, this maybe the smallest room in the house, but it's the only room we've got with Qrow staying with us. I hope you don't mind."

Logan: "No! You've done so much for me already. Plus, this is more then enough for me." Logan said as Tai showed Logan the room.

The room was only big enough for a twin sized bed and frame, and about a three and a half foot long desk that was about a foot and a half, wide side by side. At the foot of the bed was a dresser in line with the bed. A small but cozy bedroom.

Tai: "Before I forget, there is a foot-locker under the bed. The sheets have been washed yesterday along with the pillow casings. The blanket was just washed and aired this morning. It's only the afternoon, so relax for now, because when my daugthers get home and see you. Well, they won't stop pestering you untill they fall asleep." Tai went off, sounding way too much like a mother hen. Then he warned Logan about his daugthers.

Logan: "Yea, Ruby and Yang, right? Qrow told me about them." Logan responded. Earning a glance from Tai.

Tai: "Did he warn you about them?" Tai asked quizicaly.

Logan: "Ruby is a raging ball of sunshine, innocence, and the definition of a suger rush that never runs out. And Yang is a pun loving, brawel loving, and fun loving girl; one that is a raging inferno should you damage her hair. Was he wrong?" Logan asked confused.

Tai: "No. No, he's quite right in that reguard. I'm sorry about them in advance." Tai said as he apologized for his daugthers in advance.

Logan just laughed and just said that it was fine. He then explained that his sisters were similar to them and their antics. Tai then left Logan in the room to settle down and unwind after his trip.

-Flashback end-

It's been an hour after Logan was left alone to think and relax. Getting up and taking the few articles of clothing he could take with him out of the duffle bag, Logan arranged them in the dresser that the foot of his bed. After which, Logan moved the foot-locker on to the desk and took the few weapons he had on him after he dropped off [Ebony & Ivory] at Tokage's home. It wasn't much, but it was what he had on him and what he could scavange from the smugglers. They were: the [Predator Bow], [Avernus MK1], a revolver with a bladed barrel, a auto-loading pistol, and several knives that were disposable. He sighed at his current predicament.

Logan: 'I'm so far out of my comfort zone.' Logan thought as he arranged the foot-locker with his weapons. 'I don't have a base of operations. I don't have ways of finding out the current predicament of Remnant. I'm under equipped and out matched greatly. Not to mention, I'm stuck in an eleven year old kid's body. It can't get any worse, can it? Oh, wait. The system I was given to me by the Goddess Karma is in the middle of rebooting taking the better part of three years to finish. The only thing that I could have relied on is gone.' Logan had finished arranging the foot-locker and placed it on the floor at the wall opposite of the bed. "*Sigh* I need a drink."

Then he heard the front door burst open and then happy shouting and laughter. Logan knew that it ment one thing. Ruby and Yang were home, and he had to face them sooner or later. Sighing, Logan begrudgingly went to meet them. However, as soon as his hand reached for the door-handle, the door was slammed open. Right in to Logan's face and chest, knocking him out cold.

??? x2: "Crap!/Crud!"
