Yunnie's POV

"Hey Mom...hey Dad....I'm back...."

I said as I entered the house.

Usually whenever I get home the first thing mom does is bombard me with questions abt how my day went but today , she didn't.....?

Even dad didn't say the "Mmmmmhmmmm" which he usually does whenever I'm back to acknowledge me.

"Are you guys even home??!!.....Hey!!!!....Is like anyone here to greet me?!...."

Eh.... no one is home I guess.....I went upstairs to my room to notice a note on the door:-

"Honey, me and

your dad won't be

home for awhile.

Your grandmother is

not well so we need

to be with her at the

moment. We know you'll

understand and be a

good girl."

So.....they're gone.Hmmmmm I'm kinda okay with thaaattt. I opened the door to my room and laid down on the bed thinking abt what happened today.

FLASHBACK

After school, I was coming back home when I heard some noise around the bushes. I stopped in my tracks to look around and decided to follow the noise.

I

t felt as if someone was shivering and moving back and forth. I followed the noise till the small bridge at the back of the school . The river had dried up as the water supply collapsed during the storm.

Yes the river was man made. The noise became louder the nearer I went to the bridge.

"Is anyone here....?"

I called out but no one answered only whimpers could be heard. They seemed like as if they belonged to a guy.

I looked below the bridge to see a guy sitting with his legs crossed, his arms wrapped around his legs , head down and rocking back and forth while shivering and making whimpering noises.

"Excuse me sir...are you okay....?"

I jumped down and walked towards the guy.

Yep, I'm not a scaredy cat like the ones in stupid fanfics. I crouched down to his level and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Is there any wa-"

I haven't even completed my sentence when he flinched and began moving backwards away from me.

I got a look of his face properly now. Damn, even though he had a scared look on his face, those sharp features were remarkable. He was drop dead gorgeous....who am I kidding??

"No!! L-leave !! Yo-you've come to hurt me t-too r....right?! I know th-that !!"

What? Why would some one hurt such a precious looking guy?! Like what the heck, humanity doesn't exist these days...

"Hey...Don't worry... I'm not here to hurt you.... I want to help you . Please let me do that. I promise ..."

I offered him my hand and stood up. He looked at me as I motioned him to hold my hand.

He hesitantly held my hand and stood up.

"You wo-won't hurt me...?" He asked.

"Yep I won't." I smiled. "So...tell me what happened??"

"I.....I...ran away ...." He said looking down.

"Ran away? But from where?"

"My ..... home..."

"Oh.....but why did you do that huh?"

I asked him.

"They were sending me to the asylum....."

"A....asylum?"

I asked him.

"Yeah... they don't like how I behave so they thought I'm mad..."

"They... as in your parents?"

I looked up at him.

He looked into my eyes pleadingly and nodded. I noticed he was still shivering so I took of my jacket and gave it to him.

"Here take it ....aaaannnnd I have some food tooooo"

I said as I gave him the sandwiches I didn't eat during the lunch break.

"Aaaannnnnd here. It's the card of my cafè. I'm gonna hire you okay? I can't give you money like this so.... will you work for me? I'll pay you good enough hm?"

I asked him.

His began to nod eagerly.

"Good. Now take the money I have now and go to the hill behind this school. You'll find a small house. You can live there till you earn enough to get your own. Is it fine by you??"

I said as I handed him the money I had as my daily expenses.

"Yes.... I promise I won't let you down!!!!"

He jumped happily and hugged me tight.

I patted his back happily too.

"What's your name by the way?? I'm Yunnie..Kim Yunnie."

I smiled.

"Hi Yunnie .... Its really nice and happy to meet you... I'm Kim Taehyung ."

He smiled back.
